English yeast aroma. The taste is dominated by the yeast. Some caramel. A little bitter too. Not a good bw....

Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle at home from ales by mail
pours slightly hazy mid golden brown, fluffy beige head collapsing to lacing, rich, golden syrup, dried fruits, not massively sweet, but low level of bitterness, full bodied, heavy, boozy, lots of yeast character. As barley wines go its fairly decent though not really my thing

Lovely amber clear and ivory foam. Rich milky cereal caramels. Pome fruit erasure earthy light tar. Some light heat. Really delicious. Thanks to Glen Payne.

Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2015
Bottle. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruitiness, some bread, grains and some floral notes. Flavor is sweet and malty with some floral notes, caramel and yeast. Medium body, average carbonation.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2015
Bottle. A lightly unclear amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. Fruity aroma with caramel malts, rather weak and one dimensional. It’s full-bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, with caramel, nuts, some piney hops and a citrus touch. Bitterness. Alcohol. Long finish. Started out in a nice way, but that was just the first whiff. Rather uninteresting actually. 150724

Bottle 330ml @ gunnfryd’s hytte
Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, red apples, alcohol and some fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm, malty and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 19, 2015
Gravity pour at Brewmasters Theatre of Beer, Clapham. Pours cloudy amber with no head. Light sour citrus aroma. Eggy, puniness with citrus stuff... Infected I guess - it tasted awful. Rancid.
