Bottle. Golden brown with an off white foam. Aromas are toast with apricot jam and toffee. Nutty with smoky notes and lemon. Flavours are apricot jam on toast with bittersweet lemon marmalade. Leafy, earthy hops with a spicy, fruity finish. Pretty good.

Een echt Engels biertje zoals ik die ken van de vakantie. Mooie geeloranje kleur met een hagelwit kraagje. Smaak niet spectaculair, beetje bitter, drinkt lekker weg. Niet per se nog eens in huis halen.

27-11-2017; bottle; at home (bought at Lidl supermarket somewhere in The Netherlands). The looks of the beer aren't to special. It is quite simple. The color of the beer is golden and the beer is crystal clear. Some bubbles are rising towards the top. On top some rough white foam is formed. Foam retention is low...so all in all, it looks simple. The smell of the beer is also quite simple. It has some sweet malts, giving mainly some simple bread aromas with a slight touch of caramel. Hops give just some floral notes. That is pretty much it. No much depth and not anything special in there. But, not bad. The taste is also simple. Sweet malts, floral and bitter hops, acceptably balanced...and that is it. Nothing more, nothing less. Just simple but not bad. It is well drinkable. The palate of the beer is fine. Light body, slightly sticky texture and medium carbonation. The finish is rather short and simple and contains some bitter hops and a sweet touch of malts. All in all, average...but not bad.

Bottle from a local Lidl. Aroma is biscuity malt, grass, soft floral hops, grains, hay. Flavour is moderate sweet with a mild hoppy bitterness. Body is light and thin. Easy and refreshing thinnish beer with a floral hop touch, decent.

Pint at Mason's Arms, Kensal Rise. Aromas of malts with pumpkin. Fairly clear golden body, small white head. Odd taste and I am not sure I like it, but it's quite interesting. Basically malts with some hops and a weird pumpkin flavour.
