COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
We brew Wandle Ale using traditional methods and materials sourced locally from English producers. We are proud to use Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings, one of the few remaining floor maltings in the country. We use a combination of traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops varieties, together with the more modern Boadicea hedgerow variety to flavour our beers. All of the hops used in the brewing process are whole leaf which give Wandle its distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. At 3.8% abv Wandle Ale is a well balanced thirst quenching session ale.

Bottle, 500ml. A cloudy golden colour with almost no head. A somewhat musty hop aroma with fresh orange notes. Flavour has slightly bitter citrus, orange peel, some musty hop coming through. A little watery inn the finish. Not bad for the low ABV.

Fra fat p Clissolds Arms, Fortis Green, sammen med Steven: kobberfarget med fint skum som varer. Noe ufrisk/uren smak, vi mistenker puben for ha for drlig turnover og kontroll med kjelleren. M prves igjen.

Bottle from a supermarket near Gt Portland St station, London. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of light fruit, hop and grass. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, thin/waek texture, average carbonation. Label says 4.2% abv not 3.8% though seemed less. Disappointing.
