We brew Wandle Ale using traditional methods and materials sourced locally from English producers. We are proud to use Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings, one of the few remaining floor maltings in the country. We use a combination of traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops varieties, together with the more modern Boadicea hedgerow variety to flavour our beers. All of the hops used in the brewing process are whole leaf which give Wandle its distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. At 3.8% abv Wandle Ale is a well balanced thirst quenching session ale.

[email protected] bird real ale festival 2014. Golden colour. Malty, messy beer. This + the score are my only notes, sorry for that.

Piana: Dość obfita, kremowa. Bardzo drobnopęcherzykowa. Kolor: Jasnobursztynowe, opalizujące. Zapach: Delikatny, słodowy w typie herbatnikw, tosta i orzecha. Subtelna nuta estrowa, rwnie subtelna nuta kwiatowa. Smak: Podbudowa średnia, tostowo-orzechowa. Delikatna owocowość. Tekstura: Ciało średnie, piwo bardzo gładkie, delikatne, aksamitne. Nasycenie: Minimalne.

[email protected] Railway, Streatham, London (12/08/2014) - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is fruity and toasty malty, biscuity, some caramel, floral and herbal nuances in the finish, refreshing drop.

Bottle: Deep golden, almost clear, a certain haze is visible, small - slowly collapsing - loose white head; mild fruity-toasty nose with a very small amount of hops; mild bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; toasted malt and secret fruits in the short dryish bitter and slightly sweet finish. nothing wrong with it, just a bit thin...

Guest ale in most SW youngs pubs and Gravicask at Beer at the River 14. Dark amber colour, no head. Bready nose, and good balanced flavour. A bit weak in body but ok session ale

Cant remember the pub - somewhere in SW7 and it was late.... Flowery aroma, elderflower taste. Strong hoppy flavour but not too bitter - just how I like it, Beautiful golden amber colour, but perhaps served a little cold? Head was frothy and disappeared quite quickly, but by then Id drunk more than half of it. One of my recent favourites.
