We brew Wandle Ale using traditional methods and materials sourced locally from English producers. We are proud to use Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings, one of the few remaining floor maltings in the country. We use a combination of traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops varieties, together with the more modern Boadicea hedgerow variety to flavour our beers. All of the hops used in the brewing process are whole leaf which give Wandle its distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. At 3.8% abv Wandle Ale is a well balanced thirst quenching session ale.

Pours light copper. Taste has hops and bread and some fruits, just a little bit of bitterness but it’s not obtrusive. Ok beer but nothing special for me.

Beese (2669) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2014
Cask at some pub in Battersea. Poured hazy copper. Smells like urine, pineapple and passion fruit. Bready malt flavour with corn and hay. Finish is chalk, mandarin and oranges.

[email protected] bird real ale festival 2014. Golden colour. Malty, messy beer. This + the score are my only notes, sorry for that.

ejr (188) - Sarpsborg, NORWAY - SEP 16, 2014
Litt uklar oransje farge med et hvit skum. Aroma av malt, karamell og hint av frukt. Smaken følger aroma, lav bitterhet ingen ettersmak.
