COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
We brew Wandle Ale using traditional methods and materials sourced locally from English producers. We are proud to use Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings, one of the few remaining floor maltings in the country. We use a combination of traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops varieties, together with the more modern Boadicea hedgerow variety to flavour our beers. All of the hops used in the brewing process are whole leaf which give Wandle its distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. At 3.8% abv Wandle Ale is a well balanced thirst quenching session ale.

thomat (4085) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Cask @ GBBF 2017. Golden with a small white head. Fruity and malty tones. Fruit, malt, spices and hops. Medium to light body with a bitter / spicy finish.

GuideDogSaint (1718) - Xiamen, CHINA - JUL 3, 2017
Cask pint at the Assembly Rooms, Epsom. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Yeast gives this a weird taste. Bittersweet finish. When this brewery opened I was told they got their yeast from Hepworth’s. A big mistake.

Heidbummer (810) - SCOTLAND - JUN 30, 2017
Half at Blackfriars. Pours clear amber, lacy head. Soft caramel and malt aroma. Lowuah abv shows in the thinnish mouthfeel, but it’s refreshing, slightly hoppy with a malty note, some citrus. Thirst quencher in the middle of a long walk.

3.3
Davros IX (438) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2017
Cask at the Crutched Friar. A classic English bitter with a deep dark colour in the glass and a malty, yet nicely bitter flavour. It was a bit of a wamr day for a beer like this, but still ok. Good, but didnt set the taste buds dancing.

3.4
TEJA (3199) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 31, 2017
Small creamy off white head. Almost clear solid golden color. A splendid very fruity hop taste. Not much bitterness. The aroma is small compared to the big taste with some fruit and a tuch of mint!

dj (625) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2017
Bottle, 500ml. A cloudy golden colour with almost no head. A somewhat musty hop aroma with fresh orange notes. Flavour has slightly bitter citrus, orange peel, some musty hop coming through. A little watery inn the finish. Not bad for the low ABV.
