12 ounce bottle, 11/16/17. Clear amber, thin foamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of toasted grainy malt and a bit of mild floral hops. The taste is caramel, toasted malt, grain, mild earthy hops. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. Decent. RedSox2004 (1981) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - DEC 12, 2017
Poured clear dark amber, almost brown, with a small head but strong retention and minimal lacing. Nutty malt aroma, slight toast and brown sugar. Taste features strong bready malts, slightly burnt toast, caramel, and soft biscuits. Thick chewy mouthfeel, almost no carbonation and a pleasantly sweet malt aftertaste that lingers. radagast83 (8533) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2017

Bottle. Pours (surprise!) amber in color with a small tan head. Malty aroma with big caramel presence. Quite sweet with a touch of hops to balance in the finish. Medium bodied. A bit cloying, but still good.

12 oz bottle from the winter variety pack. Aroma is caramel, toast. Pours clear copper with a thin off-white head. Taste is sweet and toasty, finishing with a light herbal hop bitterness. Wow, this is really tasty. Exceeds expectations. Mep3222 (1666) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - DEC 2, 2017
Caramel malty base beer with a bit of a bready finish. Slight lagerish funk to it, but overall malty caramel bready full flavored beer. Not bad at all. Shag (3047) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - DEC 2, 2017
A copper color with a beige head. The aroma is a bit faint but contains some caramel, biscuit, cherries, oak, and earthy notes. The flavor is a bit dry with some sweetness present. Caramel and earthy flavors dominate. The finish has a slight bitterness. Overall a pretty good beer. OnTheTrail (594) - Virginia, USA - NOV 27, 2017
Pours nice clear copper color, quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is rich caramel, like a,sugar daddy candy. Taste is similar, subtler, more bready malt , hint of hops. Medium mouthfeel. The taste doesnt quite live up to the look and aroma. Still enjoyable.
