Swee porter almost like a sweet stout too bad they didnt use the maple syrup to increase the alcohol. A hot mess. koleminer20 (3591) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2014
On tap at Dan's. The pour is thin, reddish brown at best, with more red than I thought was possible in a porter. There is a little white head and decent lace. The aroma is maple, a little bit of roast and a resounding sweetness. The flavor is like a maple soda. Really sweet, extraordinarily thin, and nothing else. The mouth feel is really thin, and there isn't a prominent aftertaste, which I think is a good thing. This just isn't that good.

Deep brown pour with notes of roast, maple, dirt / earth, chocolate sweet malts. A tad thin in the body, but I like porters and this was pretty good. onceblind (9628) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Clear black with a thin sticky light beige head. The nose is wonderful like honey-covered chocolate, salted caramel and a light roasted coffee, breakfast blend. The flavor is medium-full but nicely rounded with a pleasant an lasting finish. Lots of earthy caramel and a lightly roasty sweet chocolate tone, and a wee touch of bright coffee. Light maple undertone that comes through especially at the finish. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - NOV 4, 2013
Growler @ Cumming Growler. Very dark, brown color. Rocky tan foam. Aroma of cotton candy & roasted malts, large hints of maple syrup. Burnt flavors, tastes like ashes, chocolate malt, and maple extract (minus the sugars). Finishes with a burnt roast bitterness, chicory notes. Very unique. (3870)

Draught @ Fire Works, Arlington, VA. Pours hazy dark brown with small light tan head. Dark aroma of coffee, malt and caramel. Sweetish flavour of coffe, fruit, malt, heavy metal, caramel, you name it. Pray tell me, what is this thing?! Rough aftertaste of burnt liquorice and leftovers from Starbucks?! jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 11, 2013
Pours a clear brown on tap with fluffy tan head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of maple syrup, sweety and woody, taste follows with a brown roasted soy back. Meh. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Draft at ebp. Pours a murky dark brown with bright golden brown edges. Loose creamy thin head. Light spotty lace. Sticky maple syrup nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, molasses, and intense maple on the mid palate. Syrup quality is ok...neither intense and dimensional nor particularly synthetic. Surprisingly dry, actually. Mild sweet finish. On tap 4 oz. sampler at Pizza Paradiso in Alexandria, VA.
Clear, dark mahogany with a fine khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of roasted malt, sweet toffee and nuts.
Taste of sweet toffee, nuts, vanilla, sweet roasted malt, maple and an indescribable flavor (perhaps from the hops) that does not mesh well with all the sweetness.
Medium/light body and medium/low carbonization.

On tap. Clear medium brown with a creamy off white head. Huge molasses and cereal grain aroma and taste with a cloying overly sugary finish. Way too sweet.
