Bottle @ home. Dark red appearance with a red/tan head that dissipates quickly. Quite sweet and quite tart black cherry aroma that’s just packed with cherry goodness. Quite tart, ripe and sweet black cherry flavor that has a pie filling taste. It is somewhat tart but more of a fruit beer than a lambic or a sour ale. I think this to be a very nice fruit beer that’s underrated, though it is less complex than NG Belgian Red. zvikar (6218) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - MAY 12, 2011
At a tasting, thanks Oren, pours red to orange with a nice peach color head, aroma of cherries juice, cherry liquor, pears, malt, caramel and some alcohol with notes of acidity, flavor of malt, cherries and plum with some nice bitterness, not complex, medium bodied. dpento1 (236) - Virginia, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Pours a candy apple red, with a light pink head. Has a sweet cherry nose with some earthy notes and sourness. Moderately sweet flavor, and loads of cherries! Finishes tart, sour, and dry. (not a bad thing) Overall, I liked it, and will buy again. rayl101 (163) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - APR 30, 2011
Pours ruby red with a very thin white head. Aroma is tart cherry, with hints of cinnamon. Body is light, and crisp. Flavor is tart cherry. Not sour, but tart. Enjoyable, but not what I was expecting. Pailhead (6541) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - APR 30, 2011

Bottle: The aroma consists of sweet cherry and a touch of apple. It pours transparent amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a film. The flavor starts with sweet cherry. The finish has light apple with a touch of cinnamon. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation.
Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Oren. Clear red with an off-white head. Aroma of cherries, malt, caramel, some alcohol, wood notes and light brandy hints. Sweet fruity flavor with cherries, caramel, a bit of sweet spiciness, some liqueur notes and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. So-so. beerandbeyond (708) - ISRAEL - APR 25, 2011

750ml drank fresh: Pours a cloudy dark reddish orange with a puffy white head, huge sour cherry aroma, starts and ends sweet. I’d say try this one in 5 to 7 years and see if the potential pans out. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - APR 9, 2011
Pours ruby red with a white head. Smells of buttery cherries and lightly tarte. Tastes of tarte cherries, some sweet cherry hints and some citrus on the finish. HonusWagner (2191) - Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Definitely more of a fruit beer (as listed here) than a true kriek, although there is a bit of tartness. Kind of similar to Founders Cerise. Not overwhelmingly sweet but the cherries also just aren’t as robust as in Belgian Red.
