Pours a hazy deep gold with a huge rocky white head. Sweet candy-like aroma. Spicy fruit flavors, orange, candy, pepper, and lemon notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and warming. The high level of carbonation leads to a dry finish. An impressive tripel that is complex and full of flavor.

Aroma is subtlely spicy; hops are mild; malt is mild also, providing some bready aroma. Just a hint of tropical orange flavor. Color is a clear light yellow; head is average size and off-white. Taste provides mild bitterness and just a slight sweetness. The alcohol is not nearly as prominent as I expected given the 10% ABV. The carbonation is just a bit lively which works well with this beer. Overall I like the mouthfeel - a combination of mild sweetness, acidity and carbonation. The mild sweetness, spice and slight orange flavor are pleasant. Texture is interesting - its firmly crisp/acidic which nicely balanced especially the mild sweetness.

It pours dark golden with a white head. There are earthly aromas, tropical fruit, and citrus in the nose. It has earthy flavors with a high tropical fruit flavor. There are also flavors of spice, citrus, and pineapple. It has a moderately full body with alcohol warming and a dry, then sweet finish.

Fine Tripel that leans a bit sweet...but keeps the spice flavor under control. Oak barrel aging doesnt seem to add any extra flavor.

Fantastica, gusto pieno e omogeneo, si avvertono grandi luppoli. In alcune recensioni pi critiche ho visto denotare negativamente il retrogusto decisamente dolce, per me questo invece un piacevole carattere. Esperienza da ripetere!

Rating #2083- 2015.09.27 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 4, Beer 185 - Bottleshare. Pours a cloudy orange colour, with a frothy white foam. Aroma is yeasty, spiced with coriander, light citrus. Taste is excellent, light hoppy bite, great yeasty sourness, and a nice light sweet note of citrus, coriander. Delicious. Bold, huge tripel.

Bomber. Nice Belgian spice in the nose, a little clove, a little alcohol. Amber in color, with a thick white head of fine bubbles, good lacing. Well balanced flavor. Belgian character, a little boozy, malt backbone, light barrel character. Full mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Overall, a terrific tripel!

Big. Full. Complex. Somewhat boozy. Its nice when a tripel has the body to balance out the alcohol and the citrus/spice .
