Sampled at longshot comp. Yellow/ hazey golden pour with a nose of spice, bread and hop. A roasted malty hop, bread flavor with a citrus and pine finish. Pretty good. Odd!!! vyvvy (6391) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - SEP 2, 2010
Pours amber / orange with an off-white head. The aroma has Belgian yeasty fruitiness, stone fruits, spicy hops and light funk. It has a medium grainy body with frothy semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor has lightly toasted malt, less fruit than the aroma and spicy hops. The finish adds earthy piny hops and a bit of yeastiness. Decent beer. j12601 (10920) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 28, 2010
Had this while camping at BCTC this year. Pours a clear gold and light brown amber gold with a thin white head. Soft Belgian yeast, light hops and citrus. Yeast and wheat. Gentle long lasting bitterness. Very tasty. Definitely liked this one better than the other one. beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - AUG 15, 2010
12 oz. bottle sampled at the 2010 NFB&WF at Martha Clara Vineyard. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity Belgian yeast along with a bit of banana and some grapefruit hops. The flavor is malt with Belgian yeast up front followed by some moderate hops bitterness at the finish. A solid and enjoyable beer. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - AUG 9, 2010
I picked this over the American Rye for the 2010 SA beer challenge. Poured a clear gold color with a small white head. Nice floral hop aroma with Belgian yeast aroma. Hoppy flavor gave a nice taste with typical Sam Adams drink ability. Light to medium body. I would buy these.
