COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light golden and highly effervescent, this beer’s bright flavor and light, bubbly body are the definition of summer refreshment. Its fresh lemon citrus note is complemented by a subtle malt character, and the combination of White Wheat and acidulated malt add a crisp, tart flavor. Delicious as it is traditional, this beer will have you craving another sip.

nuplastikk (6224) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2017
12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Foamy, respectable off-white head. Pretty tame for the style, not that sour at all. Reminds me more of a Gose, with its earthy spicy undertones. Really doesn’t do the style justice. Closer to a Weisse than a Berliner Weiss. Low score overall not because it is such a bad beer, but that it falls so short for the style.

3.2
PugUglyBrewer (617) - - JUN 21, 2017
A light, transparent gold color with a whispy head of white foam. Has a wet hay aroma and a tart lemon and semi sweet cereal grain flavor.

Shag (2987) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, biscuit, and spices. The flavor is crisp and slightly sour with some lemons and orange juice. Overall this is not as sour as many in the style but still lends itself to be refreshing and a good summer beer.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL from variety pack at $14.49. Very good.

ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JUN 18, 2017
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, dulled golden body with an initially tall, white head. Smell: A modest nose smelling of dry straw and stale sourdough, a bit wheaty with a small hint of blonde caramel and breezy lactic whiff. Ho-hum. Taste: Sourdough bread brushed with a little bit of sweet caramel and backed with some lightly grainy wheatiness. Very subtle lactic twang, a teensy tiny hint of lemon. A bit more of the sweetness is to be found nearing the reasonably crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation. Overall: A pretty watered down, almost offensively mild Berliner.

Aurelius (5294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Embossed longneck, fair label. Misty blonde, big fluffy head. Slightly tart, yeasty, powdery aroma. Tart, starchy, not bitter. Nothing much going on with this one. Thanks to PorterPounder.

rougeau13 (2958) - Richmond, Texas, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Bottle. Slightly hazed deep golden with a fizzy white headaroma of sour wheat, citrus, cardboard and vomit. Tastes cardboardy and lightly tart. Light bodied and dry. Ugh.

jackl (8029) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Bottle thanks to Travlr. Gold pour with a small head. fairly meek nose. Some lemon jelly candy and little else. Spritzy, inoffensive stuff. Moderately tart finish. Totally underwhelming.

Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow color. Light lemon peel aroma. Taste is very lightly tart citrus.

slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUN 13, 2017
Hazy golden. Floral lemon and light wheat. Nothing unpleasant, but a little on the weak and uninteresting side of things.
