COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh take on a fruit beer. This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction,we brewed with Tettnang Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note. A delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

Bottle pour. Cloudy golden brown pour. Strong blueberry aroma. Medium body. Long lasting blueberry taste with a slight bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark yellow with small foamy white head, strong blueberry aroma, medium carbonation, blueberry flavored skightly sweet taste, abrupt finish with persisting blueberry aroma. Interesting but a little overbearing.

A good wheat base with blueberry taste over the top. A little syrupy but in a good way. Refreshing flavored wheat beer. Cant see how others hate on it and rave about shandy or radler.

Not like a wine or juice like some other blueberry beers. Light colored and cloudy, not overpowering on the fruity flavor.

Beer should not taste like fruit. It should certainly not taste like a dessert. I like Sam Adams, but they should stop placating the hipsters and go back to their roots. --- Mi nombre es Juan Caja y me gusta la cerveza.

Pours a hazy yellow, short-lived small head and little lacing. Aroma is more lemony, but the blueberry comes through past the gums. Slight carbonation, not to heavy on the fruit, definitely a good beer on a hot day.

Tastes like blueberries, milk, and a lager that is a little hardier than standard macro fare, but nothing special. I wish they’d stop trying to be so cute and fruity with their summer offerings and use beer styles with traditional ingredients that are suitable for summer. How about making the 6 beers a lager (SA Boston Lager), a pilsner (Noble Pils), an IPA (Rebel?), a wit bier, a pale ale, and a kolch? Maybe that cool Double IPA (Voyage?) from the IPA mix make. These quasi fruit drinks are not necessary.

Poured a hazy orange-yellow color with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is sweet with blueberries and oranges. Taste has some toasted notes with blueberries. Not too sweet, a good balance. Finish is mostly blueberries. Overall it is not bad at all, better than most blueberry beers.

What I was hoping for is a nice blueberry beer. Instead, the blueberries seem almost frozen so to speak, maybe artificial. IMO, the beer should beer slightly higher abv and use different hops (how about citra or centennial).

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting Sep 14 2013 - Pours hazy yellow with some lacing. The aroma makes me think of purple kool-aid. I guess it’s blueberries but they seem a bit odd. The flavor is sweet with some bluberry. It’s light bodied. The finish is still sweet. The beer is okay, I guess. It’s better than the Porch Rocker, which is setting the bar low.
