Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of wheat bread and berries. Flavor is sweet berry and a little yeasty. Flavor is to sweet for me, didn’t care for this at all. TaktikMTL (7874) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 5, 2016

Bottle in Chevy Chase, MD. Pale straw body with tiny head. Nose of fruits, raspberries, sweet. Taste similar of raspberries. Quite sour. Smooth texture. Flavor overwhelms. puboflyons (3463) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 28, 2015
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of Nov 2015. Yellow pour. Some white head that dissipates quickly. As far as blueberry lagers go it has a nice blueberry aroma and an undercurrent of roasted pale malts to add some stones to it. Light body. The taste tends to lean more toward the toasted malts more than the blueberry but the blueberry definitely gets to show of its pomposity over the other natural beer ingredients. I just don’t get into these types of beer unless it is hot and humid and I’ve been working in the yard. johnnnniee (4374) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Bottle from a lazy dog.
Deep golden color with a good sized long lasting bubbly white head. Big blueberry on the aroma, almost too much. The flavor is quite sweet, again big blueberry. Somewhat cloying, more like a wine cooler than a beer. Glad I only bought one.

Poured from bottle hazy golden color with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet blueberry. Taste is similar and is ok for what it takes is. GarrettB (1617) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 4, 2015
July 13th, 2013 - The blueberry lager seemed to be popular in 2012, or more popular than one would expect. There’s a certain appeal to the style, and the idea itself. Samuel Adams’ take seems to be an approachable, friendly version that doesn’t let the flavors clash. The taste is sweet and slightly honeyed, with a flavor that puts blueberry forward on the tongue, but is more basic and straight forward on the mouthfeel and overall taste: a clean, crisp blueberry lager that appeals, even if it doesn’t astound. hotstuff (5201) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Rated on 9-14-2013 at Fort Wayne, IN RateBeer gathering) (Bottle) This beer’s appearance is a small white head that is mostly lasting, hazy straw body, very little carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. This beer’s aroma is sweet, tart, and artificial raspberries. The flavor is sweet, blueberries, tart, and sour. The mouthfeel is smooth. This beer is light bodied. Too much blueberry flavor for my liking. LuckyDog (615) - - DEC 31, 2014
Delicate blueberry flavor. Somewhat sweet. No hops. No malt. Just a simple, sweet, dessert beer. JasonWB (7) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 27, 2014 does not count
Not a half bad adaptation of a fruit beer. Nice smooth lager, but not over the top. Solid blueberry taste, but not overpowering. light smooth finish.
