One of my favorite beers. Hoppy enough to give good aroma andd flavor, but not overpowering. Pretty filling and has decent enough mouth feel to be a mass produced beer. Can’t go wrong here. johnny682 (3) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 1, 2012 does not count
Sam Adams lager is a very good beer with a nice flavor. Slightly sweet and roasty, but also has a nice hops kick to it. The only down side is that it can be rich and is not always easy to drink too many of these if that’s what you are into. pappaushi (13) - JAPAN - JAN 29, 2013
I can’t say enough good things about this award winning brew. it’s a wonderful session brew and I love to enjoy it when I really want to experience "World Class Beer". Pours beautifully in a mug with a strong head and heavenly aromas of malt and biscuit.
It has a thick mouth feel that is very serious "REAL BEER".
I think of this brew as the Flagship of American Beer for all of those people who think Budweiser Water is the king. Grab on to one now and experience Real Brewing Craft. It won’t let you down!!

One of the finest lagers available with an interesting mix of hops and the sweet malt is also given some well deserved space.

Maybe the best lager I ever tried, and surely the only one I will never get bored. Balanced, fresh, tasty but not sticky...
For cap collectors: dark blue cap with the same imprint "Samuel Adams. Boston Lager" as the label. janubio (844) - SPAIN - NOV 8, 2014
Deep golden c olour, with a rich creamy head that never seems to vanish, lots of lace. Smell is floral, hoppy, (not surewhich hop is used, but smells a bil like marijuana). OK, I’ve seen Noble Hops in another review. Caramel and grains. Silky creamy palate, good carbonation. Taste of caramels, malty, grains. Hoppy bitter finish. alvin8616 (3) - Kansas, USA - FEB 4, 2015 does not count
Just a great beer. Don’t let the "beer snobs" dissuade you from trying this beer because it’s so commercially available, you’d only be missing out. I understand why they brew so many other beers, many seasonal, each year but they’ve already hit a homerun with this brew. If you haven’t already, try this beer! kevmeister37 (3) - - OCT 17, 2015 does not count

Purchased in bottle from a supermakret in Hong Kong. The apprearnce is attractive, with clear amber and copper colour, and with smooth white head, look like color of ale than typical lagar. A delightful mixed tatse of malt, pine and caramel, slightly sweet but natural.
