2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
An excellent match for just about any type of food and since you can find this just about anywhere there is no excuse to not try this one. Pitiful that the major of people who drink beer find this beer "too strong". I have a hard time biting my lip when I hear people making this comment after trying Sam Adams for the first time.
Schönes Kupfer im Glas, in der Nase Malzig, im Trunk ebenso, Karamell, süß, Malz, brotig, ganz leicht bitter. Süffig, aber mir etwas zu gefällig. Trotzdem kein schlechtes Bier. meccahh69lol (320) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - OCT 5, 2017
The aroma has sweet top notes with some light skunk. The appearance is amber with some caramel tones. The taste is better than a standard pale lager, malty with some bitter, but not as distinct as many amber viennas. This used to be an upgrade on crummy beers and it still is sort of, but the gap has closed. Overall more like Budweiser than I used to think and not as good as I remember. Good for chilling outside before hitting up some casinos in Circus Circus and losing money :(. caribou43 (1150) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - OCT 3, 2017
I drank this beer at some opportunities, I bought in the Coop. In my point of view, for a mass production beer, it is ok, the qualities of the ingredients are another point but the taste is ok. Firstly, the body is copper/brown, normal carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is hoppy for the style, malt, hop, dry finish. It is a good one to start the night in one pub. civilhorker (16) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 30, 2017
SAMUEL ADAMS BOSTON LAGER (drank from pint glass, 330ml bottle)
Smell: Hoppy lager smell //
Mouthfeel: Very drinkable, slightly watery and moderately carbonated //
Head: White, homogenous //
Taste: Hoppy, lagery, but with a touch of floral perfume. //
Look: Golden, but so many bubbles! //
Overall: Would drink it again! It's not a complex belgian ale, but it's a great drinking beer. (except for the price) //

Nothing fancy. Just a well-balanced basic beer. Very drinkable.
Sorry, I had to upload these old ratings. They were for me, not for uploading. And also I need 75 characters, hence this sentence.

I can't believe I haven't rated this yet. Not really a craft beer, but a step above a basic beer.
Very good blend of hops and malt.
Not to hoppy, but not bland like your basic lager or pilsner.
I usually drink their craft beers but when you buy the sample packs a couple of their original flavor is in there, and I don't share or throw away a good beer. radassace (409) - SCOTLAND - SEP 11, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours crystal clear golden amber with small off white head. Nose is brown bread, biscuit, nutty and a citrus zest. Taste is similar with a decent bitterness. Orange peel and a touch of grapefruit too. Nice, not nearly as good as Brooklyn lager though !
