12 oz bottle to Samuel Adams Lager glass (what else?) Pours amber with thick off-white head, nice lacing. Floral hops and citrusHas a crisp, slightly bitter taste, that finishes witha bit of malt. Very creamy palate. For a mass market beer this is tasty.
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 12oz bottle at home. Finally getting around to rating this after years of enjoying it. Clear amber with a frothy off-white head. A little citrus, a little pine, a little roasted malt. Plenty of body and character for this style. Medium body, medium carb. Lingering bitterish finish. Must have been the first legit craft I had, back in the dark ages. yerffoeg (104) - Dinant, BELGIUM - JAN 23, 2018
Celles de Chicago (Goose Island) sont tops. lbailey (2) - - JAN 1, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2018 Malty aroma, hint of caramel, medium bodied beer, just the right amount of hops for a lager. Smooth crisp finish best served ice cold from a bottle or frosted glass.

Not entirely sure how i never rated this before, it's one of the classics that started a revolution in my birth continent ;) to my current taste it seems overhopped for the style, some caramel but not nearly enough for the type, perhaps due to competition from other US micros, perhaps because i've avoided Sam for a while (tall glass at EWR TA) hrabren (2044) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 26, 2017
0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Clear golden, small off-white head. Lightly hoppy - fruity and citrus, lightly grainy. Light bitterness, shows its hoppy profile. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, light finish. As expected. jobe977 (205) - Töreboda, SWEDEN - DEC 20, 2017
Bottle (4,9%). Clear cupper with medium head. Aroma is malty and sweet with notes of orange and honey. Taste is likewise but with the addition of notes of herbs. Nice long lasting finish. One of the best beers labeled "Lager" Ive tried so far. Nikokaoja (420) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - DEC 15, 2017
14. 12. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. A bit oragngey hue to golden colur. Small head. Somewhat special taste, a bit tart but pleasant. Unusual for a lager. Light bodied mouthfeel, drinkable. But that is about it. BarelyCynical (29) - - DEC 7, 2017
Pretty average lager. Nothing offensive or great about it. Aroma is what you would expect. Tastes of a fairly standard lager. Enjoyable but forgettable
