j12601 (11573) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Pouring at their booth at BCTC. Pours a hazy ruby red without much of a head. Rather still looking. Aroma smells like cheap cherry syrup. Very artificial and sweet. Quite thin and rather empty. Not a lot of tang or sourness to it.

egajdzis (6561) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2009
[BCTC 09] Hazy reddish brown color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, toasted malt, light vinegar, and cherries. Taste of sweeter cherry skins (almost artificial), vanilla, vanilla, and light acidity. More on the sweeter side, but not bad.

2.5
Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 1, 2009
Pours ruby red with a thin splash of pink bubbles. Smells of cherries and maple syrup. Tastes of sweet cherries and astringent. Some drynes on the finish.

2.6
Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 29, 2008
BBF 08 NOTF. Good bright reddish with a nice fizzy head. Aroma is phenolic sweet cherry skins, almond and cherry pit, wierd off notes and not much anticipated acidity. Flavor is watered down, artificial cherry juice-like, weak mouthfeel and very low acidity- ugh.

2.8
TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2009
Draught at BCTC. Pours pinkish red with a small head. Nose is sweet, cherry, wood, and vanilla. Flavor is sweet and buttery, fake cherries (that you put on a sundae), some vanilla. Pretty weak as expected.

LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2008
Tap sampled on 09/26/08 at Night of the Funk. Pours a dark red with a light pink head. Aroma of odd cherry notes. Flavor is only slightly cherry with also a slight tartness. The palate is quite weak and watery. What a bland beer. Cherry wheat is much better!!

2.9
puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 30, 2008
Tap at Night of the Funk. Very nice pour, cloudy rouge. Horseradish and jalepeno aroma. Odd flavor has the most fleeting signs of sour cherry, but is mostly just really weak horseradish. Another dud.
