COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special release is brewed just for the holidays. For a new approach to a classic favorite, we added cherries to our traditional Chocolate Bock for a sweet, slightly tart note. Aged on a bed of dark cocoa nibs, the malty, chocolaty, and dark fruit flavors create a rich, complex beer perfect for winter. Cheers!

Pours a dark brown with minimal head. Smells strongly of cherry and chocolate. Taste is primarily cherry, almost like a large cordial

beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 13, 2011
On draught at the International Great Beer Expo in Uniondale. Pours a clear deep brown that still allows light to pass through with a tan head. Pleasant aroma of cherries and chocolate. The flavor is black cherries with chocolate and a bit of caramel. Definitely a sweeter beer, which I enjoy. Medium bodied. An enjoyable beer for me.

thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2011
(draught at Whiskey Cake) clear deep ruby-brown, few ine tan bubbles lining the edges. Nose of artificial cherry, sweet Chocolate malt, taste of chocolate malt, artificial cherry, cream, raw grain mash. The linger leaves something to be desired, but it’s not terrible. Just ok.

DocLock (10647) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 14, 2011
Draft at CAH. Pours chestnut brownish with nose of fresh cherries, dark malt, cacao. Tastes fairly sweet, with a big cherry flavor, solid patent malt, cacao, and backup hops. Overall stays sweet with the cherries tasting more authentic than Jolly Rancherish.

Smells like a blossoming cherry tree. Pretty cherry like. Dark brown color with light brown head. Cherries everywhere

3.2
BeerHawk (1810) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Sampled at the Third Annual Rocket City Brewfest. Brown with a tan head that settled to a ring and left light lace. Big cherry aroma with a chocolate background. The flavor was like cherry cool-aid. Light to medium body with a cherry aftertaste.

2.4
dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - JUN 23, 2011
On tap at gingerman plano. Pours a very dark amber/almost black with a thin off white head. The aromas are cherries, roasted coffee, chocolate. The mouthfeel is watery, bitter and a little syrupy with a medium body. This wasn’t a good beer at all. The cherries didn’t work well with the beer. Cheers!

closey22 (1914) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2011
Subtle. Nice blend of the choc. & cherry Aroma is weak and metallic, but the fllava is nice, although Mott like a true bock. It is a bit watery for a bock. Try it, it’s not bad at all.
