Delicious chocolate covered cherries, only in the beer form. Truly enough said! rougeau13 (3156) - Richmond, Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Very dark brown with beige head. Aroma of cherries and a hint of chocolate. It tastes like cherry dr. Pepper, vanilla, and chocolate. Light-medium body; average carbonation. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - DEC 26, 2013
26 dec 2013, bottle. Dark burgundy/brown. Nose is canned maraschino cherries. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Cherries are tamed by toasted grain and almost a ginger ale flavor no guess it is nice enough.

Dark jet black, tan head, cherry and chocolate aroma. Taste is cherry up front and chocolate/lactose tart finish. Taste has that artificial cherry flavor I’m not fond of. I was expecting a little more from this one, too much artificial flavoring cherry. I finished, but will probably bring the other one to a homebrew party.. I didn't enjoy this. It's had the bitter bock finish and the chocolate was fine. The cherry however ruins it. It was that fake, cough medicine cherry and it was terrible. Sam Adams missed on this one.

Immediate taste of cherry cordial chocolate on the tongue. As you drink more the cherry flavor continues. Even a few minutes the tongue has a chocolate tang.

This was in the Christmas 12 pk I got from Dan. Dark brown pour, thin tan colored head. Aroma of chocolate and cherries. Flavor is sweet with some nice cherry accents and some milk chocolate goodness. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Enjoyable in small doses. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Dark brown color. Decent head. Fresh smashed cherry aroma. Chocolate taste. Medium thick body. Very true. MattyKakes (117) - Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Reminds me of a lambic style beer, although darker... well, in a bock sort of way. The flavors are very true to its name. stevencon (522) - Sarasota, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle to glass. Deep brown chocolate pour with no head and some lacing. Big chocolate covered cherry aroma sweet pie aroma. More chocolate hits the palate but finishes with cherry. Thin body. Good desert beer. Interesting but nothing exceptional. Finish leaves a bit more to be desired but doesn’t have a bad finish.
