An excellent replacement to the original chocolate bock it is the sole reason why i wait to drink this one last in the winter variety pack. Nice dark brown color average head and all around smoothness. Addictive to drink all day long especially winter. So soothing it is unreal

12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Appearance is dark brown with ruby tints and a thin, ruby-tan head. Aroma is mostly sweet cherries. Lovely. Taste is cherries and chocolate. Nothing unexpected here. I’m really enjoying this beer. It’s sweet and simple. sodakotakid (230) - Belle Fourche, South Dakota, USA - DEC 4, 2013
pour a reddish black with a thin dark head. This is smooth chocolate bock with a great chocolate and cherry taste. impressive for S.A.!! MarkSachon (1062) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2014
12 oz bottle. Dark and low foam on the pour. Immediate taste of chocolate covered cherries. Some caramel and sugars, along with a heavy malts. This is a sipper and not to be consumed in quantity.

12 oz bottle- Pours almost black with red highlights and a one finger light tan head. Aroma is all chocolate covered cherries, like taking a whiff of Maraschino cherry dipped in decadent chocolate. The taste is less dramatic than the aroma, more balanced which i think In this case is a good thing, Maraschino cherries, chocolate, less sweet than the aroma led on. Dessert in a glass!

On tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a fairly clear reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Maraschino cherry x20, chocolate, light vanilla, tart aroma. Flavor is more subdued but still very good. Tart black cherry, caramel, cookie flavor. Very similar to Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat in terms of the cherry. Great. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JAN 17, 2014
The color is an opaque brown with a large tan head that fades somewhat quickly although a thin layer does stick around, and the indulgent aroma blends chocolate malts, cocoa, and a heavy level of cherries. The taste fuses a high level of umami with a mild sweetness and touch of chocolately bitterness, and the palate is a very pleasant fusion chocolatey finish, medium body, thick texture, and a soft carbonation beaz1591 (238) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 4, 2014
Flute. Great cherry and chocolate odor. Pours an almost black color but has little head. Awesome malty mouth feel. Really tasty beer but I think I could only drink one at a time. BobbyAnalog (334) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Pulverized chocolate and tenderized cherry flesh, there is none better. Aromatic utopia and a malty, decadent mouthfeel. The perfect dessert beer after a hearty, uneven cut of turkey breast and a dollop of mashed potatoes christens your stomach. Hang up those hops and hardbarked masculinity at the door and enjoy. fidemaster (336) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Rich aroma of sweet cherries and milk chocolate. It pours a rich deep black color. It starts of with a nice tart cherry taste, combined with a creamy milk chocolate that is not too sweet. It also has a really nice mouthful. I agree this could be better if it added a nutty flavor, sweet cherry start but sour finish, and a higher alcohol content. However even without this its really really good.
