COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special release is brewed just for the holidays. For a new approach to a classic favorite, we added cherries to our traditional Chocolate Bock for a sweet, slightly tart note. Aged on a bed of dark cocoa nibs, the malty, chocolaty, and dark fruit flavors create a rich, complex beer perfect for winter. Cheers!

Oh yeah, this is some good stuff. Excellent aroma of chocolate and cherries, rich but not overbearing. Taste is a good balance between sweet and bitter, with the chocolate coming through nicely while still tasting like a beer. I could drink this on a regular basis, not just the holidays. Even people that don’t normally like beer may like this one.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Great cherry scent and taste. mixes well with the chocolate tones. Small brown head fades quickly, very dark in color. Not able to see through it in a pint glass even when held up to the light. Absolutely delicious. Was expecting a little thicker mouth feel judging by color...... but does not subtract from how good it is.

Dark pour with a beautiful reddish tint. Smells distinctly of cherries with a very slight chocolate hint. Taste is about the same, with a nice smooth cherry taste at first sip followed up with a mild to moderately tart finish.

12 oz bottle from the winter variety pack. Aroma is maraschino cherries, chocolate, roasted malt. Pours dark brown with red highlights and a one finger beige head that falls fairly fast. Taste is sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Along with the chocolate and cherries, I get toasted marshmallow, licorice, caramel. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Dessert in a glass.
