Rocket City Brew Fest 2011. Very enjoyable. It was like a malty cherry coke. Cherry was absolutely dominant on the palate but the dark chocolate and slight bitterness offset the sweetness well. Very carbonated and a moderate body. Interesting stuff. JaBier (7972) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Growler shared by a friend. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma of cherry, chocolate and a bit of an estery note. Chocolate malty flavor with a sweet maraschino cherry blast before a roasty and nutty finish. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2012
very smooth, very flavorful. Poured very dark with almost no head. The chocolate was more prominate then the cherry but it still had a really nice balance. Try this one!!! ExpendableHero (924) - Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Cola colored beer with a tan head. Aromas of some coffee/earthy scents and medicinal cherry. Tastes of earthy notes, toasted barley, some mild coffee, hints of dark chocolate, and sweet cherries. Finish is of sweet cherry and chocolate. The cherry flavor is masterful in this one, it compliments the chocolaty flavors without overwhelming them. Silky smooth, medium bodied, easy to drink, and very tasty. Beerandhockey8 (403) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - NOV 9, 2013
From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a brown.-black, thin tan head. Nose is dominated by cherries, light chocolate, roasted malt. Taste is medium bodied, mostly bitter taste but the tartness from the cherries also coming through. Finishes very silky with a thicker texture. Liked this one, could be a little more complex though.

Pours nearly black, rubied, with a thick tan head.
Chocolate and cherry aroma....(surprise!)
Taste is creamy, milk chocolate over cherries.
Cherry is just right, not overpowering.
Chocolate is velvety rich.
Really tasty. garebear22 (3) - Virginia, USA - NOV 26, 2013 does not count

Brown pour with tan head. Aroma is chocolate covered cherries. A bit of dates followed by the cherries with a touch of funk. Medium body with good carbonation. Pretty good Luvystypotables (1965) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 29, 2013

a nice cherry flavor, not deep, and not too sweet. fresh and ripe bright cherry flavor with a good chocolate flavor that invades and pushes out the good cherry flavor. i don’t like chocolate cherry anything but this was pretty good. some bock in there but hey this is a nice holiday brew. bit of malt in there. fuller smooth body and the beer has good seperation between cherry and chocolate flavors. fun beer!
