12 oz. bottle. It pours dark brown with some orange highlights and a rather creamy tan head. Holy cow, this smells almost exactly like Dr. Pepper. There’s a little bit of chocolate as well with mild notes of toast and fermentation byproducts. The flavor is actually pretty nice. Dr. Pepper with some rich notes of bread, yeast and chocolate. Full bodied with a nice, balanced cherry character and a sweet cherry chocolate finish. It reminds me of eating one of those chocolate covered cherries and then chasing it with a Dr. Pepper. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did. lamas (1639) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Bottle. Enjoy before: 04/14. A deep mahogany pour with a thick and creamy khaki head. Loads of maraschino cherries, chocolate, caramel, and a touch of coffee in the aroma. Goes down medium-bodied and fairly smooth. Rich chocolate and caramel flavors start things off taste-wise. Slightly bitter at the end with a touch of roasted coffee. Lots and lots of tart cherries and a little warming alcohol present from start to finish. A very enjoyable dessert beer. bpar73 (1118) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - DEC 23, 2013

Dark brown with a small white foam head. Smells distinctly of chocolate and cherry and tastes the same. I enjoyed this quite a bit. Jszetela (9) - - JAN 1, 2014 does not count
Loved this beer. You get a very bold cherry flavor at first taste and it slowly fades into a slightly semisweet chocolate note. Very tasty if you like cherry and chocolate. I love the fact it doesn’t shy away from the cherry, even though others thought it was too much.

Bottle. Very dark brwon with reddish tint, spongy beige large head, cherry aroma, well balanced, not too sweet cherry flavored chocolate taste, longish finish with roasted malt aftertaste. Nice one, enjoyed trying it. HuskerTan (2202) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - JAN 16, 2014
A- Cherry, chocolate, cream.
A- Black color, dark liquid, brown head.
T- Medium sweetness, slightly malty, cherries, cocoa.
P- Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- I didn’t have high expectations, but this was actually enjoyable. It seemed a little thin, but the chocolate and cherry tones felt natural and balanced. Quite good.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2014 My buddy had a bottle of this leftover from winter so I couldn’t resist the dusty bottle in August. Smells and tastes like a cherry cordial. Really quite good. Not overly sweet or chocolatey, but very similar to the holiday candy. I’d do this again for dessert any time. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Sampled on 12/31/2014. This fruit beer pours a dark brown/black color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing and good retention. The aroma is fruity, bready and sweet, hints of cherry, chocolate, and dark fruit. A medium bodied fruit/bock beer. The malts are dark fruity, bready and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Nice balance of fruit, chocolate and malts. A touch sweet but very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some cherry.
