COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Sweet cherry flavour, which is complimented by the crisp palate.

This beer is tolerable. Sure there are hints of cherries, but is that a good thing. Not very flavorful, but then again Im not a huge Samual Adams fan.

This beer rocks. A great summer beer. Love the cherry flavor and the dry finish provided by the malted wheat. A great summer beer.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2003 A nice limpid golden amber to copper color with a modest head and decent lace to coat the glass, Nose has a nice sweet hint of cherries, and the underlying malts add much to the appeal. Start sweet, the top light in its feel, the finish overly acidic, the hops adequate with the aftertaste dry. A drinkable beer, but not something I'm wild about, but many will like it.

I was pleasantly suprised. I cant say that fruit beers are one of my favorite styles. However, this beer was pretty good. The cherries were a bit on the heavy side, but the crisp wheat flavor did a nice job of rounding out the flavor. The slight pink color was different as well and made for a real summery drink.

I dont know what these people are talking about. This beer is great. If you like Cherries, and you like berr than you will like this. It has a definately strong cherry taste, and a wonderful aroma. If you dont like fruity beers than avoid this because cherry is its defining characteristic. I thought the flavor was great, and it is one of the best smelling beers I have ever sniffed.

Not bad at all. Was expecting something disgusting. Goes well with the Florida humidity and food as well. Not a stellar beer but a definite winner in the session beer category.
