COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Hazy red body. White, fizzy head. Soapy, sweet aroma of berry sirup (although it looks ver watery) - unpleasant. Unbalanced flavour: moderately bitter, lightly sweet - very awkward. It has an unpleasant tweak in the bitterness. Added to that, the high carbonation makes it hardly drinkable.

Very fruity beer that has a lot of the same characteristics of their blackberry and cherry beers

Tasted from bottle into nucleated pint glass. Poured a beautiful reddish-copper color with off-white head, some retention and lace. Aromas of malt, cranberries, nameless fruity yeast esters. Malt flavor was bready, toasty, caramel plus mild hops bitterness, plus the sourness of cranberries and wild yeast/bacteria. An interesting and excellent balance of tastes. Not exactly "wild" or "barnyard" enough to be a true lambic, but a delicious fruit beer, for sure.

cloudy tan color, medium off white head, quite lacy. light nose of sour, tart fruit. flavor is sour and tart cranberry, a touch of earthy malt, and an odd wheaty note. medium bodied, and a good tart finish that lasts a long time. kind of muddled overall. rather disappointing, especially the wheaty notes. from a sampler case purchased at sam’s club.

I love this brew. Not a HUGE fan of Samel Adams but this is a really good one. It’s festive, has a great taste, and easy to drink. I like this brew at room temperature rather than cold but either way, you can’t go wrong with this brew.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2011
Perfect aperitif for beer drinkers, this Lambic taste very good, but it is now a real lambic? The color is not pretty as it looks like a smoothie with peaches and apples. scent is sweet, heavy, spicy and fruity. slightly sweet fruit flavors but not a lambic as we know them. Most of all, a fruit beer.

Bottle @ Home. Pours amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of fruit, cherries and craneberries, white sugar. Taste is sweet fruity, ligh tart, fruit, cherries and craneberries. Thin body, lively carbonation. 240110

Bottle. Aroma is decent but medicinal of cherries and cranberries. Pours a nice red with a brown hue and a small white head. Flavor is medicinal cherries and cranberries...kind of gag-inducing. Medium body, sticky. This is grotesque.

dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 24, 2011
Bottle pours orange/amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows notes of cranberry, orange peel, banana, vanilla, and a touch of wheat. Flavor shows basically the same.

bottle at the Saucer(LittleRock) pours dark orange/pink with a thin white head. Aroma is tart cranberry, wheat and booze. Flavor is thin wheat, bitter cranberry. Just flat out gross.
