COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

The cranberries are very noticable everywhere in this beer, and that is a good thing. The main taste is of course of cranberries but also of a light wheat flavor that finishes quite plesently, although a little tark. But a very good beer, for lovers of fruit, and one that everybody should try at least once.

This is the only Sam Adams brew that I have not enjoyed. Honestly I almost vomited after two drinks. And I consider myself a very open minded beer drinker. I’m sure that fans of similar lambics would enjoy it, but it was not for me.

it had a nice taste good color and a decent head but it didnt stand out to me as far as fruit goes i think the cherry wheat is a much better choice

Pours a pink/red color with a very short lasting head. It had an incredibly sweet and tart flavor which was just not at all appealing to me. Aftertaste was not so great. I struggled to finish this.

Very strong/unpleasing cranberry scent. Bitter taste and very carbonated. More like a carbonated juice than a beer. Bitter aftertaste. Not impressed and would not consider a winter beer. Could be good to cook with.

Yeasty Me Beasty! Not one to search out. Lots of carbonation which seems to applify a burst of tartness that quickly dissapates. It is the dud of the box.

my goodness this one is tart, way too tart for my liking with a sour finish that makes me want not to have another sip. to be fair i prefer bitter's and bocks, but still this one shoudl have been left out of the winter variety pack.

this beer was awful. ive had it twice because i thought the first one might have just gone bad. but nope, i was dead wrong. it just didnt taste good. i made it through half of each of them before it went down the sink. except for warm skunked beer, this is the only beer i have ever not finished and put down the drain. i do not like to waste beer

It’s not perfect. Changes from being crisp and tart to downright sour as it warms in the glass, so drink while cold. I’ve had worse fruit beers, but this doesn’t exactly stand out, either.
