From Sam’s Winter MIx. Poured orange amber with foamy head. Aromas of cranberry, red wine. Thin body is similar to a pale, while it’s finish is sour, tart and even a little offensive. I don’t know what else to say about this one.? I guess it’s not my thing. alexkeil (20) - New York, USA - JUL 3, 2008
I love the Sam Adams winter variety pack, I get it every year - and every year I try the cranberry lambic and say "This is the year I will find something to like about cranberry lambic" and every year I conclude there is nothing good about this tart and confusing brew. This winter when I buy the variety pack, I’ll probably do it all over again Kyleisraaddd (19) - Marble Falls, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2009
When I read "Cranberry Lambic", I thought "Woah, that can’t be good". But when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised. To be noted, this was also my first fruit beer. jberti (19) - Albany, New York, USA - DEC 1, 2007
Pours amber, almost a cider color. Citrus armoa, bitter cranberry. Semi-tart cranberry finish with hint of cider apple. because I do not love the cider’s I rank this lower. A average beer. sweetgoodness (19) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2006
Had a promising smell of juicy, tart cranberries and a hint of maltiness. Nice hazy honey color with a touch of pink and a white head. That’s where it ends. As I took one sip, i gagged and almost vomited. There was something in the taste that was foul and moldy and I don’t care to taste it again to figure it out. I enjoy fruit beers and lambic all the same, but there was something awful with the flavor and the bottle wasn’t even skunked. The only beer that I’ve ever had that made me want to vomit; congrats sam adams.

Two bottles of this came in the SA winter mix pack. Had a few sips of one bottle before pouring down the drain. My wife and I are currently debating which hated relative to serve it to over the holidays. Utterly atrocious with no redeeming value. Doesn’t even taste like cranberries. garrettdeming (17) - Apalachin, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2006
It tasted like a watery Sam Adams Boston Lager (which I love) with cough syrup added! Like a Cherry Coke of old, this was very sweet, like a Shirley Temple. Too much to handle. Couldn’t finish it. barleyologist (16) - ECV, California, USA - JAN 23, 2006
I thought i would enjoy a fruit beer with cranberries, well I didn’t i even though Samuel Adams is my favorite brewery I can not give this a good ranking.

i really enjoyed this beer, i got it out of there holiday pack, it poured a nice fruity taste, did have sort of an unpleasnt after taste...very good for cooking though....i cook my dear meat in beer and so far this gives it the best flavor
