COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Might possibly be the worst beer on earth, if they didn’t have all those awful macrobrewed, watered down beers.

Bad, just plain bad. Bought a sampler pack of several styles and this one was poured down the drain.

Bottle out of the Sam Winter Pack. Pours to a hazy orangey reddish amberish with a pale almost reddish head. Aromas of cranberries and sugar. Very subtle yet up front tastes of cranberries, yet has a smooth finish. This is great to drink and goes down very easy and is a different tastes from the rest of the sam pack.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2009 A tasty seasonal beer available in the Sam Adams Holiday pack. It was fruitful and delicious.

I like cranberries, but am not a big wheat beer fan. Since the wheat seems to be more pronounced in this beer, I would rather drink the Cherry Wheat than this. Having said all that, I’d drink it again, as it was not awful; it’s just not my first choice for a beer.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2009 Cranberry is just a little bit overpowering. a little disappointing because of this.

This wasn’t my favorite beer. I like cranberries yet this was a little "too" cranberry for a beer. It was watery yet drinkable for the holidays.

Weak carbonation and head. A little hazy. Too cranberryish (tart) for my taste. Not a true lambic, should have been called ’Cranberry wheat’. I’ll try it again, but only if someone else is buying.

A light amber color with big white head. Has a nice cranberry aroma, and taste to it. overall a good lambic beer for me first time having a fruit beer.

A little too fruity in all avenues. Appearance gets my highest mark. I agree with some of the others, this is the weakest member of the Winter Variety Pack.
