12 oz bottle. Aroma of tart cranberry, maple syrup--that’s what the label says, I know. Pours reddish brown with a thin head, nice lacing. Only faintly lambic in character. I taste apples, cranberries, grapes, cotton candy. Body is thin, carbonation slight--this doesn’t deplete the beers quality however. Finishes both tangy and sweet. Not bad. It’s definitely weird, though. mannika (140) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 27, 2009
Pours a cloudy reddish-orange. Aroma is of sweet fruits - taste has a bit of tartness, but not nearly as sour as I was expecting. Cranberry comes through a bit on the taste, but not overpowering - other fruitiness comes through as well. Overall quite nice. Metalchopz (3474) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 15, 2010
Had this one on our trip to Nashville. Left over from a friend’s Christmas season (as it does say best before April). Pours a hazy orange-red colour with a pale pink creamy head and has decent retention and lace. I was quite surprise to smell bananas more than anything else. I guess it is from their wheat (the same used in their Hefeweizen). The cranberries are light in the background. The mouthfeel is quite sweet and semi-syrupy. The taste of the fruit are present, but again, the strong bananas come in to take over, right into the aftertaste. I guess when this beer expires its freshness, the cranberries disappears but the wheat stays strong. Just wondering about the lambic part ?? beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden amber color. Fluffy off-white head. Aroma of cranberries, and mixed berries, and yeast and malt. Flavor was tangy cranberry and wheaty malts. Easy on the palate. Touch of everything I expect in a fruit beer. Sammys (428) - Portland, Maine, USA - DEC 1, 2000
Rather weak for a lambic, but if you ignore the style it supposed to be and just enjoy it, its rather nice. The fruit compliments, not overpowers it. I wish they sold this in 6 packs.

RE-rate Medium gold color, medium head. Slightly fruit aroma. OK.. Its not really a lambic, but it’s a medium bodied fruit beer. Slightly tart, and somewhat sweet, slightly malty. There is a little of that sweet/sour taste thing going on here. Nice drinking beer, cranberry flavor is a little light, but its drinkable . Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, some sweetness in aftertaste. UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 17, 2002
I don't know my lambics, so I'm not sure if this is a good or bad one. I understand that the fruit should be dominating in the style, and it certainly is here. Very sweet, very tart, with a bit of a wheat beer taste in the back. I like cranberries, so I enjoyed this brew. Very much along the lines of their cherry wheat, in terms of fruit intensity and body. ultraspank (867) - Alverca, Lisboa, PORTUGAL - DEC 10, 2002
Refreshing nose of flowers with a hint of cranberry and resin. Pours from the bottle a clear orange. The full off-white frothy head is mostly diminishing with fair lacing. The flavor starts sweet with a moderate acidic middle and a sweet and tangy warm finish. The light to medium body is creamy and soft and finishes clean. Nice. khayman70 (153) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2002
Not a good lambic. I didn't care for the flavor............................ jeffc666 (1984) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - DEC 10, 2004
Ok, so I am horribly biased. I have heard nothing but hideous things about this brew. But yet all of these hideous things I have heard have not had much to back them up, simply that this is a horrible beer. Well bottoms up. Clear sparkling amber body topped by a small white head. Lacing is quite nice. I was expecting something reddish but whatever. The aroma is light craberry, wheat, and light sourness. Not too bad so far. The flavor is lightly sour, lightly cranberry, medium malty with wheat notes. As it warms it becomes more sticky and the maple syrup comes through more as does the cranberry flavor. Very dry medium palate. Sourness is subdued but it is there. This is WAY better than I had expected. Hell i would drink more of it . Its certainly not an authentic lambic, more of a lambic for beginners. This beer gets an unduly bad rap because of the brewer!
