Samuel Adams Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Great stout has hoppy chocolate and vanilla notes, creamy and smooth finish. Good pour, solid tan head, smells a bit of coffee and leather with a hint of cashew. Aftertaste as good as initial taste, smooth from start to finish. One of my favorites.

Dark ruby to brown colour, almost black with thick beige head. Malty aroma, toasted coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, smoke, all are very delicate smells, barely noticeable. Strong coffee flavor, bitter chocolate hints. Medium body, most on the weak side. Great beer, but I expected more of it.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours deep mahogany red. One finger tan head, Some lacing and retention. Aroma roasted barley and vanilla. Taste is mainly sweet, bitterness seem to come from the dark roast rather than the hops. Medium body, moderate carbonation, mouth feel is a little thin. Tasting notes, light hints of both chocolate and coffee. Vanilla, lactose and grass. Pretty much textbook cream stout.

Overall a good offering from Samuel Adams. Their base taste is there with a hint of chocolate and a smoother palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a black from a bottle, aroma of chocolate and coffee. Flavor similar, with that sour milk flavor of a milk stout. Thin as a milk stout always is. Meh.

Bittersweet chocolate with some coffee aroma in the background. Not to heavy or intense, its very smooth for a stout. Very drinkable.

On tap at DIA. Almost black in appearance with a lacy tan head. Aroma of milk sugar, shitty coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, roasted grain, lactose and light earth. Similar flavor, with a medium body and a creamy feel, a little thin for my liking. I had heard this was pretty good so I was a bit disappointed.
