Honey, grass, and lemongrass nose. Crystal clear amber, thick sticky head. Medium body, soft carbonation. Metallic and grassy. Has some nice attributes, but I don’t get what they are trying to accomplish. In the end, I didn’t really enjoy it all that much. Brenhophead (695) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 17, 2014
330mL bottle (BB: Dec 2013). Pours crystal clear golden sunset with a small white head. A very nice piney citrus aroma and, even though its past the BB date, a heck of a lot fruity caramel flavour with that crisp clean flavour only a lager can produce. Very nice. Bottle hazy golden light amber with a nice lasting dense off-white head. Typical aroma of a macro-micro attempt at a West coast IPA. Piney and floral but somehow a b it cardboard and stale. Flavor is lees so, more subdues hop flavors, but balanced with the light malt of a pale lager. Some sweetness still and very drinkable. This hopped up PL with a little more FG works fairly well, though I am not sold on the "style" per se’ jandd1983 (4604) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - FEB 13, 2014
It poured a crystal clear amber color with a an off-white head. The aroma was of pine and citrus hops. The taste was of citrus and pine with a slight biscuit and sweet malt flavor for balance. It had a medium body and carbonation. Nice. williamstome (1989) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Gold pour, big foamy head.
Floral, citrusy aroma with sweet malt undertones. Crisp, round flavor- dry simple hoppiness, tasty. Not the best mouthfeel.

Aroma: Nice but overly pine it just sings of spruce to long.
Appearance: Nice very good at holding out.
Taste: clean and refreshing

This one is different, but good. Pours a clear golden with a 1 finger head and leaves moderate lacing. Aromas of pine, citrus and german hop character along with bold toasted malt. Primarily medium bitter. Meidum bodied with medium carbonation. Medium to long bitter finish. Very well balanced. I really think Sam Adams is overlooked by craft beer lovers sometimes. I really like this. davidajensen (206) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Its a lager. It’s hoppy. It smells pretty good. It’s not a great IPA. Oh yeah, its a lager. Weird markering, decent beer. Thewade (340) - USA - FEB 4, 2014
Sam Adams hits a home run with this one. Bought for my wife, and wound up being pleasantly surprised. Slight hops, and well balanced. Light with citrus notes. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - FEB 4, 2014
@ Remkes / Crescent Springs bottle date - 5/14 Clear deep amber with a good head that drops to 1/2", swirls of lace. Full-bodied caramel malt that adds medium bittering midway through the palate, both staying around through a lingering finish. Outstanding brew, great for sessions, plenty of flavor for 5% abv.
