What a pleasant surprise. I am not a big fan of this brewery’s products, but I thought this was exceptionally good. A real punch of grapefruit on the palate with a very nice mouthfeel, and it goes down dreadfully easy. Nice head with plenty of lacing. Finish is pine, grapefruit and floral. What a great summer drink...hops without the heaviness that good IPAs can leave you with, which can be a little much on a hot day. Hope I can find this on draft somewhere. Well done, Sam! Bottle from Brook Falls Discount. Pours a golden orange with an off-white head leaving some lacing. Aroma has pine, citrus and some spiciness with sweet caramel back. Taste is of grapefruit, pine and resin with a solid caramel base. Light to medium bodied. Finishes on the bitter side of bittersweet. Solid tasty brew. scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JUN 23, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a darker gold with a two inch white, pillowy head that lasts. Taste is of citrus, pine, malt, grapefruit, hops. Nice aroma that is similar. Has a nice body that finishes dry and bitter. Easy to drink like a lager, but packs an IPA punch. Refreshing and quite enjoyable. A nice beer that I wouldn’t mind enjoying on a summer camping trip. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - JUN 20, 2013

pours clear pale golden with a nice white head, some retention. toasted wheat and light caramel, shy fruitiness, some pine and herbal leafiness, peppery and spicy - light yeast. average to soft carbonation, light to medium body, nice short spicy-citrusy finish. dry and crisp. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Bottles. Pours out a yellow color with a white head. Smell is citrus, fruity, grassy. Taste is smooth and refreshing, pretty good - it actually does not have that signature Sam Adams taste that every beer they brew has. Good stuff. lb4lb (2603) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Nice rich gold pour with beige head. Smell is tea like hops and fruit. Taste is crisp tea like hops and moderate crisp bitterness. Good full body and prickly carbonation. Pretty drinkable and feels like a pretty strong ipa hop wise. Pretty good but probably wouldn’t get again still. hman43 (1605) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUN 15, 2013
A strong citrus smell. The head disappeared rather quickly and is weak. The beer is golden in color. It has a decent taste will grapefruit definitely present. Overall a decent beer. kaser (6314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Poured from draft at Mikes Highway Pub. Orange and clear with sticky foamy head. Nice floral hoppy aroma. Smooth pilsner taste with a hop kick. Unusual but I like it
