Bottle: Pour is gold with a medium foamy head.
aroma is grassy, grainy, citrusy, honey and biscuit.
Flavour is not at all as sweet as expected. Nice citrusy and floral hop. Very crisp body. light grain and biscuity malt. junon (430) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - APR 2, 2013
Big bold fruit notes in both bouquet and flavour. Ever so slight bitterness. Smooth. Wish it was a little stronger. Not bad. Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - APR 1, 2013
Clear golden color with some orange hues and a small, bubbly white head. Aroma is herbal, some tropical fruits and slight citrus. Tasty is hoppy in line with the aroma, herbal with some citrus and grapefruit, firm but mild with a salty finish and short after taste. Medium to light palate, easy driking, refreshing and tasty at the same time. Kind of a hopped-up Boston Lager. Wish they could do something like this @ 4.2 - 4.4% abv r464 (2361) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2013
Smooth and malty, but balanced. Full enough, but not heavy. A very nice lager that the macros could sure learn from. Sledutah (7720) - Utah, USA - APR 1, 2013

Appearance: Clear golden with a medium sized white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Tropical fruit and grapefruit
Taste: Fruit, light malts, yeast and citrus
Very nice, clean and crisp.
I too was surprised that I really enjoyed this beer. I’m not really a fan of most Sam Adams beers. However, this one is solid and has a quite interesting taste to boot. Basically, a hopped up, piney, citrusy lager.
A good sessionable beer based on its 5% ABV. And it would be an excellent paring with food, since it is not as overpowering as a strong IPA style. I could down 4-5 of these pretty quikly- It makes for a nice Spring/Summer type beer.

One finger white head on top of a golden malt with a slight reddish hue. Slight hint of citrus with a bold hoppy bite. Nice, clean finish. kavenpb (36) - saint jérôme, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 29, 2013
Pours a light gold with a thick white head. Big tropical fruit hop nose. Smooth clean malt with a nice hop bite. Tasty.

Have a soft spot for hoppy pilsners. Measuring this up against my staple Prima Pils, this is a nice solid beer which could have a little more profile on the nose. But, very nice and no complaints with this one.
