COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing innovation is about asking "what if?". What if we gave an IPA a new identity and used some of our favorite West Coast hops, with their grapefruit, piney, & tropical fruit character, in a lager? The result is this boldly hoppy & and flavorful brew with the crisp smoothness of a lager. Cheers!

MALT VARIETIES Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend and Munich malt
HOP VARIETIES Zeus, Simcoe, Citra, Ahtanum, Cascade, Centennial, and Nelson Sauvin hops

Shared by Pixachii. (Thanks, Miss!) Pours a clear golden color. Head fluffs up to about one inch. Smells lagery, but really dragged through the hop garden. Very fruity and perfumey, this one. Not a ton to say about the taste, really- It’s got that lagery smoothness and sweetness, but with more fruity, floral notes and bitterness to it, too. Refreshing. Hoppy. Big flavor, but still extremely drinkable. I think this did exactly what they wanted it to. I don’t mind this!

Pours a nice dark copper with a light froth head. Very aromatic with fruit notes maybe even a touch of mango.

Appearance; clear golden-copper with two fingers of white head and tons of frothy lace. Aroma: grapefruit, pine, marmalade, and honey smacks. Taste: bitter, floral hops dominate up front, with notes of citrus, apricot, and resin; under it all is a no-doubt lager-y malt base, similar to their Boston Lager. Finish: dry, slightly bitter aromatic hops vie for supremacy with slightly sweet, toasty, crackery malts. Notes: This is darn good. Easy drinking, with IPA-like flavors and aromas balanced by high-quality lager malts and finish.

Pours dark golden with a thin wispy off-white head. Notes of sweet fragrant hops, mango, fruit resin, apricot, and pine. Medium bodied, lightly resinous with lively carbonation. Very nice.

Creamy head and pours a copper color. Not a bad flavor but with the after taste you can definitely taste the piney hint. Like munching on a taxi cab air freshener.

Crisp copper coloured body with a lighter honey glow and a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, bright hops and a hint of grassiness. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavours up front with a definite herbal note, some lighter malt backbone flavours and a bit of a spiciness on the finish. Aftertaste shows a great balance of malt and hops with a pleasant light sugar finish and a strong white grape juice-like flavour. Overall, a surprisingly good beer with a very nice balance and an easy-to-drink mouthful. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, pulled from a 12 pack sampler, purchased from Giant in Fairfax, Virginia, sampled on 02-March-2013.

Pretty standard fair for an IPA. Greenish yellow body with a thick head that fades slow. Aroma is a strong hops with a little pine cone. Taste is crisp, slightly bitter that leaves a piney aftertaste. Drinks reasonably smooth.

Light clear amber with large white head that fades to good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and lime, light toasted malt. Medium body, medium heavy carbonation. Taste starts with citrus burst, melon and lime, full malts, finishes with bitter lemon.
