Bottle. Pour is a nice clean orangish gold with a decent head that dies down almost immediately. Aromas are weak... A little grain dust and a mild hop presence is all I pick up. Flavor is more interesting, but pretty washed out. Caramel malt up front with a bland tropical fruit finish. blackflag321 (689) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Drank from the bottle. A hoppy lager? Who woulda thunk it? Mild hoppiness and a little citrus; smooth finish. A lager that hopheads can enjoy. BeerFanDan17 (1107) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - MAR 2, 2013
A nice smooth lager with slight spice notes, reminiscent of an unfiltered whet with a meager hoppiness.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with white head. Aroma is sweet with huge floral and citrus hop notes. Smells amazing. Taste is citrus and floral hops and kind of fruity. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - MAR 1, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a crystal clear copper color with a one finger thick off white head. Very light lacing. Aroma is pungent pine, resin, and herbal hops. Very nice. Flavor is the same with the addition of some floral hops and lightly sweetened malt. Has a lively hoppy finish. Medium body. Well done Boston Brewing Co.

Really impressed with this beer. I like the lagers and IPA style hopping it up is great! mcox90 (2071) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 1, 2013
12 oz bottle, part of the "spring thaw" 12 pack. Pours a clear bright yellow with a 1/2" white head. With a beer this clean and bright, can spring be far off. Aroma is fruity hops with a touch of spice. Light fruitiness in the flavor. Some bready malt. Finishes dry and crisp. Thin palate. Everything about screams spring. jmcgavin12 (492) - Madison, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Pours golden with light white head. Aroma is pretty hoppy with lots of grapefruit and pine. Moderate bitter taste with a crisp easy finish. Definitely something new and also delicious. Quite smooth overall interesting mix marv3mania (185) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Bottle poured into tulip. Appearance is clear golden copper with a nice off-white head. Aroma is intense bitter citrus with pine hints. The taste is a bit heavier on the pine and grass with a rather bitter hops aftertaste. Slightly creamy feel to, carbonation seems fairly light. Not too bad. Pours a translucent golden orange amber with a creamy/bubbly off white head that laced. Aroma of a handful of fresh American hops. Piney, floral and citrusy. There is a nice malt character coming through that I get from many Sam Adams beers, however for the most part thise nose is all about the hops! Flavor of resiny hops, sticky pine and floral. Really a great hop flavor profile going on. Clean a crisp with a nice lightly toasted/cereal grain malt profile poking through. Well done Boston Beer Company! Make sure you try this when it’s fresh...that hoppy goodness will diminish quickly.
