bottle. clear gold with large fluffy white head. spicy hop aroma with white grapefruit. big, grainy flavor of straw. like a lager with the syrupy sweetness replaced with citrusy lemony hops. lemon lime finish. medium body. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - FEB 22, 2013
12 oz bottle from the spring variety pack. Pours slightly hazy copper with a medium off-white head with good retention and lace. Aroma is doughy, floral. Taste is bitter with some sour in the finish (along with more lingering bitterness). Nice and hoppy. Creamy mouthfeel, high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. Not bad at all, although not near as good as New Belgium’s Shift when it comes to hoppy lagers. travita (5003) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle. The look is copper in color, lacing off white head, and clear. The smell is pine, hops, floral, some fruit, and malt. The taste is malt, ok body, floral, hops, crisp, and fruit. jgentgesdo (694) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Pours amber with off white head. Nose is floral, pine, grapefruit hops. There is a faint musty background. Flavor is sweet but also bitter. Rather watery. Crisp. Pretty refreshing. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2013

Bottle to glass mug. Pours a clear yellow with slight amber twinge and white head. Has a great nose of citrus. Tastes pretty hoppy with grapefruit citrus notes. Slightly on the watery size, but very decent. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate pine, light fruit, lager yeast, and grass. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a one finger white head that fades to a soapy film after a minute or so. The flavor starts with lightly fruity with some citrus notes and faint cereal. The finish is light-moderately piny with some spice and light grapefruit. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, it comes across as a Pale Ale...and a solid sessionable beer. Light amber pour with a white head. Aroma is a nice and hoppy with some spice. Taste is a nice malt backbone, slight pine hop flavor. Nice balanced beer. Tasty. Nice lacing! sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle. Pours a golden color with medium head. A bit of hop aroma like a traditional IPA. The hop flavor was fairly mild, but there was medium bitterness that lingered for awhile. Some light malt flavors came through on the initial taste before the bitterness overpowered them. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 20, 2013
12 oz. bottle. It pours a nice crystal clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma on first impression has some dense base pilsner maltiness with a good balance of American citrusy hops. Typical clean, crisp lager yeast esters. Slightly doughy. The flavor is hoppy up front with some grapefruit and light florals followed by some bread and honey sweetness and a crisp lager like finish. A bit full bodied, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Really drinkable and a pretty good brew. Slightly on the sweet side like most SA brews.
