COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing innovation is about asking "what if?". What if we gave an IPA a new identity and used some of our favorite West Coast hops, with their grapefruit, piney, & tropical fruit character, in a lager? The result is this boldly hoppy & and flavorful brew with the crisp smoothness of a lager. Cheers!

MALT VARIETIES Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend and Munich malt
HOP VARIETIES Zeus, Simcoe, Citra, Ahtanum, Cascade, Centennial, and Nelson Sauvin hops

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Best by: July 2013. Clear orange color. Good thin off-white head, decent retention. Good lace. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry overall, but a good ample body, still. Nice bitter taste, very little sweetness. Bready lager aroma, but very satisfying crisp hop flavor. Nice grassy light floral and pine. Some citrus. Light spice. Good hop bouquet. Nice long hoppy aftertaste, with bready lagery malt mixed in there, too. Really good, satisfyin stuff. Smooth, easy drinking, and very tasty, and also very interesting at the same time.

Bottle from Guntown. A solid brew. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A big nice nose of fruity hops. The flavor is oranges and more citrus, crisp, clean malts, very nice.

Amber pour with a thin white head. The nose is a little bit citrusy and tropical. A bit of kiwi and some light orange and mango citrus. Juicy and tasty with a lingering bitterness. I like the hop profile they have going on here - clean and tasty. There’s a bit of malt sweetness in here as well. Pretty nice brew.

pours clear pale golden with a nice white head, some retention. toasted wheat and light caramel, shy fruitiness, some pine and herbal leafiness, peppery and spicy - light yeast. average to soft carbonation, light to medium body, nice short spicy-citrusy finish. dry and crisp.

Not bad but not quite as easy drinking or good as ordinal session ipas. Pours hazy amber without much head or lacing. Light sour and bitter finish. Bottle from Chevy chase.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2013 bottle. clear gold with soda water bubbles and a small white head. mellow and somewhat stale hop aroma on top of bare pale malt sweetness. lightly chalky and husky, lightly coarse carbonation, medium hop bitterness. simple, lean, a little "snappy" but lacks any trace of life or vibrancy. very dull and plain.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a large white puffy head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus. Not strong, but pleasant enough. Flavor is about the same, lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light body, oily mouthfeel. Refreshing and nice. I like this beer!

Bottle to pint. Looks good; a transparent orange with thin white lacing. Smells of hops and dough with a bit of pleasant skunkiness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel and a clean lager finish. A good lager.

3/3/13. 12oz bottle from Proof in Tallahassee. Clear copper pour with a nice white head that fades and laces surprisingly well. Rich hop aroma with plenty of citrus and dank with some pine and caramel and doughy almost pilsner malts. Lighter flavor with caramel and doughy malts and a touch of citrus. Not bad.

12oz bottle pours crystal clear deep gold with copper hues and supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts, citrus hop notes and a fairly lager yeasty esteriness. Pretty nice. The taste starts with citrus bitter tangerine hops and then moving into complimentary grainy malt notes and sweet lager yeast fruity esters. It comes together nicely and the sweet esters are kept in check and only add a small facet to the flavor experience rather than take it over.
