Amazing mixture of floral, citrus, and just plain hoppy taste. Quite clear and golden, minimal froth on the head. Light to medium bitterness. Not too sweet or sour. Body is light, average to soft carbonation, and the finish is just the right bitter, and lasts tempts the buds for another sip. MightyHef (19) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2013
A bright floral beginning with a surprising balanced bitterness in the body. A smooth dropoff for a finish. This could be my next session go-to beer. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - JAN 1, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2015 A brave blending of styles that blurs the lines between lager and IPA. It’s damn tasty, too. Double Agent has the malt character and alcohol content of a lager with the hoppy, fruity flavor of an IPA. This is a great idea with even better execution. This beer makes me wish that India Pale Lagers were more common. I’ve gotten to enjoy a couple of these and hope to have even more in the near future. rajendra82 (1093) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - APR 24, 2013
The veer looked very nice in the Pilsner glass I chose, with a golden colored clear body, a two finger thick head, and lots of fine carbonation. The smell was typical of a West Coast IPA, with lots of grapefruit, orange peel, and some pine, as well as some spicy smells. The taste was juicy, citric, very clean, and had some bubblegum notes in mid sip, with clean finish. I drank the beer warm from the grocery store yesterday, and it taste a bit lifeless. With time to chill today, the beer was much more lively. The mouthfeel was very soft, aided by the pillowy head, and about a billion finely textured carbonation bubbles. This is one the best beers to ever come out of the Sam Adams brewery collections.

A real nice bronzed body, nearly crystal clear with nice rising pinhead carbonation in the middle, lemon hues at the bottom. Head is frothy white and three fingers with very good retention settling to a nice island and some swiss cheese like bubbles. Really nice looking beer here.
Nose is soft citrus lime and wonderful chewy zesty hop front. Hints of spritzy character, and a wonderful aromatic citrus of lemon lime and hinting tropical notes. Not much else though, but very enjoyable.
Palate hints with a noticeable thick sweetness of malts, but the lime hop bitterness comes in to balance it out. Still borderline syrupy and hinting towards fussel boozy character, but the beer feels bigger than it's five percent abv hints at. Sharp aftertaste on the finish with a hint of crispness as well, with the hop angle rolling along nicely on the palate.

This is a really nice beer. I purchased it in a spring variety pack and it turned out to be my favorite. It is a beer with a light base and an IPA type bite and finish. It has fruity characteristics while remaining dry. The nose is flowery. This is a unique, creative, great beer. drpimento (3641) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 13, 2013
Excellent beer! If only it wouldn’t have been kept under fluorescent lights at the store. Poured at a good temperature with a decent, foamy, frothy, thick, long lasting, cream-colored head and plenty of lace. Color is a clear orange amber with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is hop, malt, fruit, bit of skunk. Flavor is like nose, largely loses the skunk, has a great balance between bitter, tang, and sweet right up front and dance around each other in the mouth. Body is spot on; ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor, has good length and is great drinking! Hope to get more of this. AtronSeige (1538) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 17, 2014

Fantastic. Better than Sam Adams Hoplogy 48 Latitude. Better hop flavor, better roasted after-taste. On par with Smoky Mtn Brewery Pale.
