COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing innovation is about asking "what if?". What if we gave an IPA a new identity and used some of our favorite West Coast hops, with their grapefruit, piney, & tropical fruit character, in a lager? The result is this boldly hoppy & and flavorful brew with the crisp smoothness of a lager. Cheers!

MALT VARIETIES Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend and Munich malt
HOP VARIETIES Zeus, Simcoe, Citra, Ahtanum, Cascade, Centennial, and Nelson Sauvin hops

Bottle. Nice clear amber color with a fruity off-white head. Nice aroma of citric and floral hops with piney notes and some caramelly malt. Flavor has sweetish caramelly malt, citric and piney hops and a moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. I had after cutting the lawn, but I could drink this anytime.

Bottle with a best before of October 2013. Pours with a crystal clear golden orange hue with a medium sized, tight, bone hued head with some very solid lace. Aromas are of pine, light tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit and citrus. Light resiny cohumulone, medium strong malt background that is mostly toasty and biscuity, a touch of apple as well. Flavors are bready, toasty, biscuity. Mild bitterness, some fruity notes. I wish there was just a bit more hop flavor and a bit more grassy dry hop character. Bitter balance is spot on though. Dry. Neutral balance. Livelier carbonation. Quite a decent beer overall, but could be a bit more hoppy.

Bright clear orange pour big head. Aroma of pine, passionfruit and citrus hops. Sweet at first then the bitterness drops in. Tastes herbal, floral, and resinous. Some wheaty flavor. Has a heavy pilsnery mouthfeel. Full of flavor. I personally prefer ales though so Id rather just have an ipa. Itll be a great beer for somebody else though.

Poured from a 12 bottle. Lots of pine, herbal hop qualities, some citrusy, grainy, husky malts. I have a hard time with the lagering and hops.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle. Golden yellow with a huge head like a soft pillow. Scent of sweet pines with light grapefruit. Knew this had some WC hops going! Slight bitter finish with very little bready malt. Find this hard to believe they were using Munich malt-so not like a lager at all. Overall greatly surprised with this brew. Enjoyed immensely on a hot afternoon.

Very fruity. The hops impart a very tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor. Not my usual thing, but it is very good. Very interesting beer. Maybe being a lager helps give it such a unique touch.

Poured a bright gold with a light tan head that slowly dissolved. Aroma is happy but not overwhelming. Taste is much of the same, with hints of citrus. Very nice.
