A laidback golden pilsner that’s full of character. The fun of brewing is that it’s always evolving, even in the world’s most popular beer style, the pilsner, there’s still room for creativity. For our German Pilsner we wanted to showcase both new & heritage hops from the original hop gardens of Bavaria. The classic Noble hops offer a floral spiciness while the new varieties create a fruity & citrusy character for an elegant, light bodied yet flavorful brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy, deep golden color with a nice white head. The aroma is of floral hops. The taste is also quite hop forward especially in regard to hop oil. This reminds me more of their Noble Pilsner than it does of German dry Pils. Not my taste. I miss very much the sparkle from the fresh malt which in this beer is very much overshadowed by the hop oils. I agree entirely with the comments from canary dog below.

Crisp and clean. Hops give it a Citrus note and a spicy bitterness that lingers long on the pallet. Not much character other than that, on the boring side ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden beer with a cream head. Light spice aroma. Grass and spice flavor. Medium bodied. Grass and spice linger with light malt.

Pours a clear amber color with a medium off white head. The aroma is musty and spicy. Maybe some lemon zest mixed in there as well. In the flavor, you pick up musty hops, some lemon zest and white pepper. There is some hop characteristics on the back end to help round out the beer and give some bitterness. The mouth feel is light to medium and drinkabillity is quite high.

Clear yellow colour with thin soapy head. Aroma has some pale malts. Flavour has a touch of bitter citrus pith. Marginally better than a normal Pilsener.

12 ounce bottle. Light in body with a nice hoppy nose and a slight sweetness followed by hops and grass in body.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2016 This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent weak yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. . The semi-sharp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a lingering malt hop aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

This is nice. Light bubbly with a tad fresh apple feel (without the fruit, if that makes sense). Simple but nice.

decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - DEC 8, 2016
Yellow pour with white head. Aroma is light malt and floral hops. Light dryish start with a touch of floral. Light bodied with a solid floral bitter finish. clean crisp and refreshing beer

Crystal clear golden pour with a white cap. Lightly spicy aroma over floral and earth. Some sturdy but restrained toasted malt stands it up. Medium bodied. A great summer session.
