Bottle:   Big pillowy white head, nice lacing, dark and hazy amber.   Looks fairly decent.   Both the nose and on the tongue it has some bits of clove, banana, and spices.   More flavorful on the tongue than the nose suggests.   A little mealy, some dark pitted fruit on the exit, light, but its there.   Could stand to be a bit heavier, but as is its fairly moderate.   Better than I expected.   Thanks for the bottle Bill! wlajwl (6816) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 1, 2011

Bottle. Pours a slightyl hazy light brown body with a small fizzy off white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is pretty decent, slightly husky and earthy with some light esters of banana. The flavor is a bit thin though, not enough yeastiness or body. The finish is laced with banana and clove. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. This one isn’t the best. Taste is toffee malt, banana, sweet yeast,
Good solid banana tones throughout.

On tap: The aroma consists of banana, bubblegum, light caramel, and a touch of roast. It’s a hazy brownish-orange with a small off-white head that quickly settles to a thin film. The flavor starts with moderate banana, caramel, and a touch of chocolate. The finish has a light wheaty tanginess and a touch of roast. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Aroma: Wheat, lemon, banana, clove, mild spice
Appearance: Slightly hazy orange-amber color, fluffy white head
Flavor: Spice, malty wheat, bready and citrus flavors blend alright with the spice
Palate: Light to medium in body, pretty fizzy, drinkable, smooth
You know, this beer is alright, but it certainly isn’t great. It is a little light on flavor and character for me, though it appears that others liked it more then I did.

Pours clear amber with a dense beige head. The aroma has candied bananas, clove, cotton candy and dark wheatiness. It has a medium / full body that’s pretty rich and has fairly sharp carbonation for the style. The flavor starts with rich wheat, caramel, light banana, toffee and pepper. I liked this more than I expected. Reddish brown, decent sized loose, spongey head. I got some rye, some banana, some toasty aromas, and the flaor was more rye. Bottle: Poured a clear amber color dunkel with a large foamy had with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma consists of banana cake ester are pretty strong with light sweet notes and some what malt. Taste is a good mix between banana bread ester with light cloves and some light wheat malt notes also discernable. Body is a bit light for the style with good carbonation. Nice work on the yeast strain with huge ester but lacking body and malt profile is a bit weak for the style.
