12 oz bottle from Vons and a Summer Styles sampler. Nose is very grassy with notes of citrus, caramel and a tiny bit of bubblegum. Crystal clear yellow with a small yellow tinged head. Flavor is a hint of bitterness mixed with a peppery feeling and a little caramel. scarletfire65 (1534) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Pale straw color, foamy head. Aroma is lemon, jasmine, very floral, and slight hop. Flavor is slightly sweet, fruity, some lemon and strawberry, and more of the jasmine comes through. Ample carbonation, very crisp and dry finish, very refreshing. I’m not too familiar with this style, but this was simple and nice. Great summer seasonal.

12 oz. Clear golden with a lasting creamy head. Nose is flowery, hard candy and spicy dry grass. Flavor is honey, biscuit, spicy grass, and a hint of citrus. Near-medium body is well-balanced, soft and tingly. LinusStick (3530) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Blah. A boring and bland kolsch. This style has to be done flawlessly for me to like it and this one isn’t. Aroma was weak bread and light malt were the only things detectable and they were very weak. Pour was a light gold with a thin white film for a head. Taste was very bready and malty but it was weak and thin. Light carbonation which ruins the style for me. Wouldn’t buy again

Bottled as part of the Summer Pack....argghhh another good Sam I’d willingly buy in straight 6 packs in a pack with 3 other beers I wouldn’t willingly buy. Pours clear gold with a nice head. Light flowery aroma. Nothing complicated, but just really well made, biscuit malt flavor, crisp, and puts the other one known for "drinkability" to shame...this one still tastes good when not ice cold. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Sampled on 5/8/2011. This Kolsch pours a light orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and fruity, bready and spicy. A light to medium bodied Kolsch. The malts are cereal and bready. The hops are floral and spicy. Nice carbonation. The jasmine is fairly noticeable. It gives this beer a nice dry finish and an interesting allover spiciness. A very nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. tgncc (3144) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAY 8, 2011
The aroma is malty, toasted, spicy, flowers. The fllavor is just like the aroma. The appearance is the typical yellow. Medium in body. The finish is spicy hops. -interesting take on a style I don’t especially care for. Decent, especially for what it is. i

Pours a nice golden color, aroma smells like lake water. Taste is crisp and fizzy. Harsh malt with a biting hoppy presence. Nothing outstanding but very drinkable anderson01 (357) - Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Copper in color. Thin white head with constallation lacing. Citrusy aroma. There is some vanilla hiding in the aroma along with some peach. Creamy texture that is very smooth and refreshing. Light-bodied beer with good carbonation. This could be my new summer drinking beer. It is that smooth.
