Clear, gold, visible carbonation, nice fluffy white head. Nose is of corn and malt. Then it goes downhill. I have no sense of what style this is and was surprised to hear it was a Kolsch. It’s really off and very difficult to provide any sort of description when it comes to flavor. Tastes dirty and murky, palate is like a beer but flavor is just distracting on so many levels. From the bottle sweet taste of sugar and hops nothing more than that simple and plain. matalec1984 (115) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 25, 2012
Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head and tons of lacing. Very carbonated but hey its Sam Adams. Light bodied but a little slippery with a very short aftertaste that ends on sour off-note. Fortunately the off taste is short-lived and fades quickly. The slipperiness sticks with you afterwards however.
I like the aroma, balanced nicely with floral and tropical citrus notes, reminds me of hibiscus and honeydew. Taste is a little flat, nice and clean but very little of the floral and citrus notes come through. A little grainy but still an easy drinker. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Just wasn’t doing much for me. PArt of the summer pack. It is light, slightly fruity, in a whole lower class than those produced in Köln. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 2, 2012
355mL. Clear straw pour. Small head formation. Sugary caramel nose. Taste is tangy, floral, soapy, thicker. Sugary cantaloupe with mint. Taste moves to anesthetic peppermint. Palate is mealy apple, powdery, sugar. Overall medicinal.

There are a lot of descriptions listed here, I won’t attempt to add much. My notes: The appearance is fine, but almost no lacing. The aroma is very mild, but not cheap-smelling. The taste is mild (as described by others). The description by the company shows a lot of imagination. Maybe the subtle citrus note and delicate aroma of Jasmine escaped me. Overall, I don’t think it’s a great addition to the SA. collection. It’s a decent beer, but below their average. onceblind (9859) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Clear pale golden with a thin head. Subtle perfumey aroma of cryastal malts and floralness. Taste was crisp and pale, but not much in it.Light sweetness, no bitterness, a little bready. Hard to find the flavor. Drinkable and smells great, just so flavorless... klas (414) - SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2012
citrus, golden, clear, minimal head, lightly bitter, medium body, average carbonation, astringent. Bought this beer as part of a 12-pack with 6 different varities and two bottles of each. Samuel adams used to be a favourite, but most beers in this 12-pack wasn’t that exciting. johnnysmoke (104) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Not my cup of tea, too light and well... too light. Pours yellow with a thick white. Very carbonated and extremely light bodied. Kind of a sour aftertaste. This is a good beer for someone making the transition from Bud or Coors. junon (430) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - APR 5, 2013
This absolutely bland. Why did they even bother with this crap? Another example of Sam Adams spreading themselves too thin.
