Nice Golden color, crisp hop nose. Restrained Saaz flavor, watery, slightly citrusy. An American Pils midfielder. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2003
Golden. Nice hoppy aroma and a clean and crisp flavour. A good and refreshing pilsener. hayden1215 (319) - Ohio, USA - JUN 28, 2003
Golden in color with an average head, mostly diminishing. Malt aroma with floral notes. Flavor is smooth and watery with a touch of hops. XMB625 (30) - USA - MAR 3, 2003
If my ratings do not give it away, I think this is one of Sam Adams better brews. WabashMan (1024) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - FEB 10, 2003
Better than the super watery american macros, but not up to par with the great pils.

Found an old bottle, and it wasnt to great. Well carbonated, golden hue. Little white head. Floral, herbal nose. Hops are prevalent, and quite nice, yet the lack of supporting malt is somewhat disappointing...Not bad, I used to love this when I was 14 years old, haha, really. Not a bad beer, certainly drinkable but really lacking in character......... heykevin (1281) - Decorah, Iowa, USA - JAN 8, 2003
Surprisingly good for a sam adams product. Clean, rather substantial maltiness, balanced by a healthy, saazy hop charge. Finish is a little sweet, with lingering lemon. khayman70 (153) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 19, 2002
Crisp and refreshing. Not sam's best, but nice in the summer............... Murph06 (121) - Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2002
Pretty average pils, not a favorite of mine.
Good, thirst-quenching, with some bitterness and citrus note. Would prefer more bite...
