The aroma is full of nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon. Hazy golden body with a thin film for a head. The nutmeg and cinnamon come through in taste also. Only modestly sweetened. A light lemon and clove comes through in the palate. Has a zesty quality in the finish. A fine autumn brew that isn't a cliche.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of February 2018. The look is a slightly cloudy orange-amber with a long lasting and soft foamy head. Good head retention. The aroma is a delight with an array of spices and characters including clove, coriander, banana, what malt, and a juicy fruitiness. The body is smooth and a little better than medium. The taste has much of the same spiciness as the aroma suggests with an added bite of cinnamon that tends to jump forward and hangs on until the end. It ends clean and mild. I could drink it again.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is crazy heavy on the spiciness with little Hefe character discernible. Just loads of cinnamon and nutmeg in here. The flavor is much the same, this is just a liquified spice rack. Is like they tried to put pie in a bottle. Overly sweet as well. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not a fan of this one, but I don’t like pumpkin pie either. Might be your thing if you do. 3/5/5/3/10

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2017 A good take on an autumn harvest ale. The banana and clove character of the hefeweizen remain an anchor for the middling cinnamon and nutmeg which are layered in perfectly. A bit of tartness towards the end is a welcome surprise. A wash of carbonation at the tail finishes things up, and raises the fall spices up on the palate. Pours an average hazy light amber with a small off-white head.
