[Bottle] Copper colored pour with a fizzy tan head. Aromas of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and sweet pumpkin. Flavors of sweet pumpkin pie and more of the associated spices. Brown sugar, caramel and residual sugars in the finish. Decent balance, could have scored higher if the sweetness was toned down. Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 16, 2015

[6211-20140304] Bottle. Fragrant fruity cleaner and light pumpkin spices. Clear, amber red body with a quick foamy off-white head. Pumpkin spices flavour has a nice sweet grainy finish. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7+/3/14) 3.4 EdInSaltLake (727) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - DEC 11, 2014
Spiced aroma and flavor. Sweet, bread crust, light caramel malt. Subtle tartness... Really subtle pumpkin flavor. Pretty heavy on the spices, but doesn’t overwhelm the malt character. A little cinnamon "burn" (not a bad thing). foyle (424) - Wyoming, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass
Appearance:a 1" off white head falls quickly with no lacing remaining. Color is a mostly clear reddish amber. Plenty of streaming carbonation.
Aroma: spice is the dominate aroma, a bit of pine also.
Mouthfeel: between light and medium, frothy, with a somewhat dry finish.
Flavor: pumpkin and spice (cinnamon) are the dominate flavors. A bready malt backbone and some tangy hops for balance.
Overall: fruit/spiced beers are not my personal choice of brew, but this is definitely one of the better ones I have had.

Bottle. Orange with medium head. Smells of spice and grain. Flavor is kinda bitter and the pumpkin spices could be more balanced. Finish is average. elgavilancillo (89) - Long Beach, California, USA - NOV 12, 2014

12oz bottle -
Picked up in the Fall Seasonal 12-pack box. I’ve been looking forward to sample and rate this beer, because there’s nothing I look forward to reviewing than a pumpkin beer (other than a stout of course).
The aroma has some nice pumpkin spice character to it, but it’s really restrained. Kept under lock and key if you will. Perhaps it’s not to startle the newbie trying a pumpkin beer for the first time? But the aroma was just a notch better than Michelob’s Pumpkin Spice beer. Flavor has some light sweetness to it, and the pumpkin character seems watered down. Almost like the idea was to keep this quaffable, which to me...pumpkin beers should be decadent like a great dessert. And they did succeed in making this quite quaffable, but if you are gonna include only 2 beers into this pack, I guess to make money on it they couldn’t dump all kinds of malt and alcohol into it. Is it on a level of Pumking? No way...not even close. But it’s not bad.
