A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Sampled at SB & WF 2011. Pours copper with a light brown head. Smells malty and pumpkin. Tastes bubbly malty with a hint of pumkin with a similar finish.

Surprisingly dark copper pour with minimal head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice. Some nutmeg, clove and allspice. Taste is more pumpkin forward. Spicy up front.

Popes light golden red. Flavor is thin, but you can taste the pumpkin. Very average at best.

Draft - At first, I liked this beer, but after a couple of sips in, I couldn’t drink it anymore. Between the nutmeg and cinnamon, it smelled pretty good. I got some pumpkin in the taste but I felt like the sweetness overpowered it. As it warmed up, it got progressively worse.

Rich amber color. Nutmeg, ginger, pumpkin, caramel aroma. Flavor has quite a bit of ginger snap cookies, caramel, light hops. Good.

Clear dark amber color with an aroma of spice, pumpkin, and caramel malt. Pumpkin spice flavor with some cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice dominate the taste with pumpkin, toasted malt and caramel rounding out the flavor. Medium body. Quite tasty.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is of toasted malt, caramel, spices and pumpkin. Medium, oily, slightly crisp body. Toasted malt, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, herbal hops and pumpkin nicely balanced on the palate. It was my first pumpkin beer and I enjoyed it.

tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - OCT 1, 2011

Tasting sample at table and vine tasting, this one really tastes like pumpkin!! Great balance between the pumpkin and spices which is odd for the overspiced craft "pumpkin" beers out there. Didn’t not see one like this coming, neat.
