VIII. Amber colour, mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is mild pumpkin and some bready notes. Flavour is fruity, pumpkin and some slight floral notes as well. Not the most creative beer.
The more Sam Adams beers I drink, the less I like them. This one was no exception, tons of spice in the aroma and extremely sweet taste. Not my cup of tea. omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2013
Bottled at PBF. Clear reddish orange, small head. Fruity nose with plenty of cinnamon and pumpkin spicyness. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bold caramelly buttery malt - loads of pumplkin spices. Salty finish. harrisoni (19310) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2013

Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Very sweet pumpkin, candy aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish pumpkin flavor. Harmless but quite ok as a pumpkin ale. Lingering sweetness.
Bottle. Pours reddish amber with an off white almost tan head. Nose/taste of nutmeg, cinnamon, spice, clove and canned pumpkin. Medium body. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 19, 2012
A dark amber color with an off-white head. Heavy on the spices, mostly nutmeg and all spice with a bit of cinnamon. Toasted malt and bread aromas with a light sweetness of toffee. The flavor has a nice subtle vanilla note along with the spices. A little bit of gingerbread character to it as well. Not much actual pumpkin to it, but a pretty decent beer anyway. bhensonb (15745) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours darkly ruddy with a slight yellowish head. Nice pie spice aroma. Near med body. Flavor is light caramel, maybe even roast caramel, with enough pie spice to make it tasty. I’m sure the smaller brewers bring out tastier pumpkin ales, but this is pretty good.
