Really flavorful beer. Nice creamy head. You can smell the sweet and nutty ingredients. A really tasty beer. Would rate it as one of my favorites if I could buy and drink a six pack, but because it's a flavored beer I would only have one.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark brown body that leaves a half finger white foamy head that lasts for a good minute. Some foamy rings are left in the lace.
The smell had nuts, malts, and light toffee.
The taste took the previously mentioned flavors and added in some light chocolate.
The palate sat about medium on the body with nothing harsh on the tongue. It is very drinkable.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer that I had no problem drinking the rest. gopherfan99 (1775) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Nice brown ale with nice caramel, hazelnut taste. I have only seen it the winter sample packs which is a shame since I would buy this beer on its own. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Tap. Pours a clear light chestnut brown body under a small wispy off white head. The nose is really sweet and loaded with hazelnut, smells a bit artificial. The flavor is just as sweet as expected, tastes like hazelnut coffee with a light nuttiness and some caramel on the finish. A little too artificial and sweet with not enough body to back up the flavoring. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a too long lingering hazelnut finish. I’ll take a pass on this one if a second go around comes. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - FEB 17, 2014
12 oz bottle from winter sampler pack. Poured a thin brown into the pint glass, overwhelming aroma of roasted hazelnuts. You better like that taste if your going to try this one. Nice caramel malt smoothness combines with the richness of the hazelnut and makes an enjoyable beer but not a session ale, the flavor becomes cloying and too sweet for having more than one or two.

Modest starting head. Shrinks to ring lace. Clear, brown color.
Smells like burnt molasses with hazelnuts. Lots of toast.
Sweeter taste with a strong deep roast of hazelnuts. A bit sweet. Thin bodied and high in the carbonation. Short aftertaste. Relatively non-descript. Brandon1989 (655) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2014
this beer pours a brown color with a nice thick tan head that leaves lots of lacing. the aroma was hazelnut, nuttiness, coffee, caramel, chocolate. there is so much sweetness in the aroma. the flavor is identical to the aroma. this beer is very good in my opinion and i highly recommend it, Jszetela (9) - - JAN 1, 2014 does not count
Wow, I am a big fan of hazelnut. I love hazelnut coffee, candles, etc. So when i tried this beer I was immediately in love. I’ve had hazelnut beers by other well rated breweries, but this is my favorite. pnastie81 (13) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Rich brown in color, smooth and full of flavor, pours nice with a short but thick head. Overall a good brew. jgb9348 (6191) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Rich deep brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head and a nice copper glow at the bottom. Aroma of coffee, nuts, earth, malt, pistachios, hazelnuts and a lot of nutty depth - very nice. Medium-bodied; Slight coffee flavours up front with a rather large bitterness, but the caramel and earthy malts follow behind with a super strong hazelnut flavour that persists. Aftertaste shows quite the depth with the malt and nuts really coming through, a little bit of sugar and some minor bitterness at the end. Overall, a great nut brown with an amazing hazelnut flavour throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a sampler case, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City) on 20-October-2013 for US$25.99/24 pack, sampled at home a few steps away from Costco on 15-December-2013.
