COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This flavorful dark brown ale has a distinct hazelnut aroma and taste. Slightly sweet caramel and toffee malt notes accentuate the pleasant roasted hazelnut character. This medium-bodied brew finishes smooth with an underlying spiciness from the hops.

Dark red to light brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, cloves, and suds. Rate is very rich, hazlenut, roasted malt, creamy very enjoyable taste. Mouthfeel is balanced but lighter than taste would lead.

This beer should nave the word NUT after the Hazel. This is good but too overwhelmingly nutty after each drink. Drinkability is ended without balance of some kind. I guess they prove a point that they have variety but not a well balanced body here. I wouldn’t buy this again, and would only drink 1 or 2 if you bought it for me.

Wow pleasantly surprised with this. A 12 pack was broken up and was able to pick up just one of these and wasn’t expecting much. I was thinking that it would be like a lot of beers that advertise a flavor and not deliver. Totally wrong nice brown ale with noticeable hazelnut flavor.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Great brown ale! The hazelnut flavor is roasted in such a way that it almost has a Carmel flavor. Perhaps the best brown ale I have ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into Sam Adams glass. A: very sweet malt. App: dark brown carmel with an amber hue. T: sight coffee and toffee, with carmel in the middle and a fresh, nutty, pale aftertaste. One finger tan head P: fairly crisp with some firm bubbles.
