COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Hefeweizen has a traditional spin on a classic American craft brewing style. This crisp, fruity wheat ale is cloudy, because the yeast has not been filtered out. Bavarian Spalt hops give the ale a crisp elegance, that is not bitter and leaves a clean aftertaste. Cheers!

12 oz bottle. Pours unfiltered orange with a creamy white head. Wheaty aroma, slight caramel note. Soft mouthfeel. Not that wheaty or fruity in the flavour rather malty. Mild malty finish.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A clear orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is slight of wheat. The flavor is sour wheaty with notes of caramel. A boring flavor in a boring beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Quite different from the Sam Adams Weiss Bier. This is more of an American interpretation of a German wheatbeer. More dry and less fruity than a typycal Bavarian Wheat. Lacks some refinement I think. Full orangey colour and a very finy white and creamy head.

Lounge beer on draft Admirals Club JFK T8. Server didn’t know what the "Sam Adams Seasonal" was but this looks and tastes like a hefe. Cloudy variegated golden yellow color. Aroma of citrus bubblegum. Taste is lightly bitter spiced wheat and cutrus, light banana. Decent choice.

Hazy golden color. Quite poor, paper, the typical Weizen character is hidden; a small hoppy note…

Hazy golden. Aroma from caramel and fruit. Fruity flavor with citrus notes, but not like a european weissbier.

Bottle poured a hazy golden amber with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, citrus and a faint hint of banana. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast, ligt citrus and light banana with a smooth bread like finish.
